Very pleasant home. Someone commented it was too small . . . I’m certain some other Goldilocks will comment it is too large.

We owned an American Homestar back in the 1990s that was also built by Oak Creek. It was better built than a couple of the site built homes we ve had. It's now on its 4th owner, and still look great

Why are all the vanity mirrors the same height as the sink mirrors in every home!?!?!? When we women SIT to apply makeup that mirror is at a useless height!!!

Jeez. $110k!? I'd rather build a pole barn house for half the price.

This looks really nice. I'd love to have a home this size. If I were buying it I'd make 3 changes though (just my personal preferences). For starters, I would not want the faux beams. Experience tells me they're a real pain to paint around and sometimes electrical wiring is hidden in them so you can't easily get rid of them when you finally get sick of them. The wooden accent wall in the master bedroom looks nice now but it would also have to go. I'd rather have a painted accent wall that I can easily change. And last... I definitely would NOT want that "peek-a-boo" cabinet looking into the bathroom from the laundry room. I'm not too lazy to walk to the bathroom to put away towels. I get that some may find it convenient but it's also creepy! 😂 LOL! I do really like the Tx star dining chairs! This will make a really nice home for someone. 🙂

Beautifully decorated also . I love it all except I would want a fireplace . Still beautiful though . Also I would probably build some pretty front and back porches onto the house.

We can put a fireplace where that nook is right when you walk in the front door.

If you put it on private land, build some nice porches, and use brick instead of sheet underpinning, you'd be set. It'd look really good! My cousin bricked/stoned hers, built a huge covered porch with a swing and rocking chairs. Then she built huge flat stone walkways to match. It's very nice. I wish I could do the same! Cheers! 🙂

@@AmpItUpEquine @Don Provost Hi. That's exactly what I thought when I saw that spot. It's a perfect place for a fireplace but at the same time a not-so-perfect place being at the entry. My home has always been too small. I wish there were mobile home dealers near where I live. I need a new home. I know I can't afford ones I'd love to have but could maybe find something nice enough and better and bigger than what I have now. My everything at home is falling apart after 35 years living in a cheaply built structure. Do sell outside of Texas or have affiliates on the East Coast? Atlanta area? (Ga, not Tx)... Cheers! 🙂

What is this homes Platt footprint, a. Issue for land owners nice to know I'm guessing it's 30x56? Or 60?

Where are these available and can they be put on foundations ?

I saw some single and double wides in/near New Albany, Indianna and they were right on the Ohio River (the river was literally in their back yards). All were raised up at least 1 story in case of flooding. Even a 50 year old sngl wide was done the same. I'd never seen anything like it and was baffled at first and then it hit me that it's a must when your in a flood area. I saw one dbl wide that was setup on a foundation on top of a cinder block garage. It had a steep flight of steps to get up to the porch. I suppose if that can be done, a simple foundation shouldn't be a problem for pros who do this kind of work and as long as there's money to pay for it. With the right landscape, you could possibly have a basement. I've also seen them where they sat on 4ft thick concrete footers and then just for looks bricked around it instead of using sheet underpinning. It made a huge difference in appearance. It looked really good... more like a stick built house. Good luck if you're in the market for a new mobile home. Cheers! 🙂

Too small
@tammygurl645 жыл бұрын
It'd be perfect size for one person. I'd have a guest room and an office/craft room combo! I only have 2 bedrooms now and 1 is used for a closet so I'd love that much extra space not to mention a 2nd bathroom! We all have different wants and needs. 😊 Unfortunately, we can't get what we can't pay for. 😭
