I've lived in a Mobil home for several years and am quite happy with it. An awful lot of negative people on here. I live in Florida where half the state lives in a Mobil home. I'm sure this will make a fine home for whoever buys it.

I like this home. To clarify, there are mobile homes and manufactured homes and they are very different. This is manufactured and they are actually very well built. I still agree it is overpriced and one of the downsides. Sellers do not negotiate much and by the time you add land, hook up to utilities (especially a water/sewer source, it loses appeal.

Houses are generally priced based on bells&whistles, location and square feet. It's rare that the same house will cost the same in different ZIP codes. In my zip code ANYTHING like that is going to run me $600k minimum and I'd still have to update. Unless I go modular and put it on a foundation.

You all do know you can get them customed made with sheetrock walls and granite counter tops, whatever flooring you want, kitchen and bathroom fixtures. I just spoke with a dealer in South Carolina and I can change what ever I want including making changes to the floor plan. Oh and another thing my mother in law bought hers 25 years ago and she's not had to replace anything. She's of course upgraded stuff just cause she wanted, not because they were broke. She had hers customed the way she wanted. My huaband and I are buying a stick built home but don't judge just by what the models look like cause most dealers use house materials in their manufactured homes.

Why do you angle the walls for the fire place. It is wasting a tremendous amount of living space. Also why not put in a foyer so you aren’t walking right into the living space. All that brick over the stove is going to be a nightmare to keep clean. All the cooking debris that is in the steam will be hard to remove from the bricks crevices and porous surface. And who wants to walk right into the tub when you enter the bathroom. Especially in the middle of the night or if you are an over sized person. Trailer manufacturers need to rethink there functionality when designing them.

The walk in closets are not what i would call walk in closets , i do not like carpet where we eat , and the french doors should be where the windows are next to the table and the windows should be in the living room area as well as the kitchen is a bit small for it being a triple wide home, so the design sucks , as well as the guest bathroom is in an awkward place if you have a family of 4 or more. The master bedroom/bathroom/closet was nothing to brag about. For a triple wide home the design is not impressive at all. I would not purchase this home .

What a disappointment inside! It looks old fashioned, whomever designed the colour scheme inside and out needs to go to modern design school or get someone new and fresh in, the inside just looks dingy and cluttered as the colours don't go together, neither does the decking wood, decking floor wood, two colours of siding are all clashing, awful! For that price I would absolutely expect a much more modern interior and much better design appeal for a wider selection of people not just 70 year olds 😊 Just saying in my humble opinion!

Gloria Salsman As someone that has lived in MHs all of my life, I can tell you the options are there to get whatever upgrades you want. I started off as a young married with a baby that wanted a home of my own and not an apartment. My MH was small and cheap but it was as cheap as a vehicle and gave us private, easy to clean home ownership I have since had several new MHs,divorce and upgrades. My second MH was the cheapest 2x6 construction I could get. In 1989 for less than $20,000 we had a good, sturdy turn key home We made cosmetic upgrades as we could afford it and had a beautiful home that was very well made. Two things I didn't like about early trailers was windows and the daisy fasteners that held the ceiling up. I made sure when I ordered my double wide, I ordered upgraded double paned windows. You do get what you pay for but you can have a pretty nice turn key home for any price you want. I have been in modulars not as well made as my double wide. I moved because of my health but always loved living in my mobile homes. I would get another tomorrow. Not everyone can afford a $200,000 house and no matter what the price tag was, each of my mobiles was brand new to me and that was a wonderful feeling. I particularly loved custom designing my double wide. I poured over floor plans and put hundreds of miles on my car finding out exactly what worked for me. Each of my homes sold quickly because they all showed pride of ownership. The first mobile I had was sold for $2500 and an almost new garden tractor (I only paid $4600 in 1970) The man rented it for 20 years in a park he owned. Talk about return on investment!

My ceilings are 10 and a half feet tall I have granite countertops Beautiful hardwood floors everything is just gorgeous my living room has a tray ceiling. It came with all stainless steel appliances my stick built home I had to buy the refrigerator. This house came with all the blinds. I do not see anything cheaply made in my new mobile home yes I know they do make some that way still but they need to so more people can afford to have a home.

Gloria Salsman A lot of site built homes built today aren't that well built either. If you can't afford all the nice upgrades for your site built home you are going to get the bare necessities materials for your home. I can't believe a plain 3 bedroom 2 bath home with no extras, can run you 249,000 and that's on the lower end of the scale, with payments starting at 1,200 or 1,300 a month?

That's just what I was thinking! Two of those closets were plain old reach-ins, not walk-ins. I also do not like this new tradition of the master closet being in the bathroom. Uh-uhn! Give me a separate closet from the master bath. Lastly, that house still had the look of a mobile home - the ceilings, the trim work, the master shower, the bathroom sinks. For that kinda money, it at least needs to be a modular, not a faux modular.

Sorry, I'm sure it's well built for a mobile home but ... good grief. I live in a beautiful country club currently. Spa bathroom, Asian style with granite kitchen countertops and wood floors throughout. I can (and did) buy a condo here in this club for around 40k and enjoy luxury swimming pools, large beautiful golf course, club house with 4 star chef, beautiful lounge overlooking amazing mountainous views, and even an Inn here inside the club for guests. I can buy a real house for less money than this mobile home that has no garage, and no land of it's own. one would have to purchase land on top of the 200k /189k sales price. I'm sorry but I think your going to have to do better than that.

DERP DERP DERPPY DERP are those condos senior condos or low income? 3 bed 2 bath condos where I live in California start out at 300k! I live in Northern California too! I'm not sure where you've seen homes like this that are less than 200k, but I'd sure like to know??? Site built homes, in a nice middle class neighborhood, start at 400k. Welcome to California.

DUDES you really need to replace the dead batteries in the smoke alarms before you give a tour. I wouldn't buy based on that one reason alone. If you ignore that simple bit of maintenance I'm left wondering what else is wrong with your products

Kellie Brogan I agree, the master bath could be better utilized by getting rid of that dumb tub. If you want a bath so bad there's 2 other tubs in the house. I'd rather use that area for extra closet space and a bigger shower.

Why are mobile and manufactured homes not qualify for a VA mortgage?

OK where do I start... First, I knew you didn't close that front door. You could hear the traffic. Next, the carpeting was a no go for me. Then the layout of the kitchen was messed up. Oh and let's not forget the ugly faux stone on the fireplace and bar. Then that ripple in the kitchen floor caused me pause. And those little rooms with step in closets, not walk in closets. And thar tub in the master bedroom is directly in front of the door! Am I missing anything else???

I am seeing this 3 yrs after posted and couldn't believe he was calling those closets large walk ins. Agree with the others post about the matter. Maybe you should have said step in closets.

That is a lot of money for a home that does not come with land. This is a nice home there is a crap ton of things i would change like i hate carpet in a home i have animals and it is easier to not have any carpet at all, i hate a tub i have no kids do not need a tub spend the money on a nice walk in shower with a place to sit down i have bad hips that pop out of place all the time. Over all i do like this joint just think it is a touch over priced and it is way out of my budget especially without land.

Spend a couple of bucks for a battery for smoke detector before you do a video. Unprofessional.
