I know. One complaint I have with the Spider-Man 2018 PS4 game is that Kingpin's voice sounds like he's trying too hard to be as big and brutish as his physique suggests, and I don't really believe him as an intelligent mastermind. Roscoe Lee Browne perfectly captures the feeling of a huge man deliberately speaking softly most of the time, effortlessly raising his voice to a roar when he needs to dominate a room, and with total, usually justified, confidence in being the smartest man in the room.

Drake Bell the 2 best actors to play the Kingpin are the late Michael Clarke Duncan in the Daredevil movie featuring Ben Affleck, and Roscoe Lee Browne featured here. All he had since the spiderman cartoon was the daredevil movie and his appearance in one episode of the mtv spiderman series. apparently they were going to use him in the spectacular spiderman series but couldn't because of copyright issues. (that was never an issue in the 90s. you know I never would have known about heroes like blade or the punisher or even Daredevil if it wasn't for that animated show)

Miloš Nikić Both the Kingpin and Daredevil got great actors in the original Daredevil film. The problem, like every other bad superhero film/spin-off, was that the original Daredevil had a shitty director and a script that nobody could follow with a well drawn out map. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Val Kilmer fell into that same trap (Red Sonya (a Conan the Barbarian spinoff from the '80's), Judge Dredd (1995), and Batman and Robin).
