Harry does not understand that gold is a monetary commodity and it does well in inflation and deflation. The dollar from 1929 until 1933 was gold and that is why they had to confiscate it because it was so valuable in the Great Depression.

His guest is just absolutely wrong wrong wrong on residential realestate. A small correction down is certainly possible. But the cost of replacement sets a lower limit in anything short of a 1930s style depression to how much your house can go down. So unless you are expecting 80 percent deflation 80 percent reduction in oil and gas then please please don’t sell off all your realestate. Remember real estate is useful, people need and want shelter, a place to escape to, grow food as well as just stay warm and dry. And the decreasing US population is and will be offset by both legal and illegal migration to US which is still one of the best places to be ,come hell or high water. Think be before you do something that extreme.

U are always wrong. every single year since the GFC Dent has said US shares would crash and therefore has been wrong for 15 years straight - he thinks the dow will crash 90% to hit 1000 - crazy thinking.
