That’s just a lie, the national teams are getting closer, not the leagues. The best players in the Olympics all play in the nba, the US roster, Wemby, JOKIC, Luka, Giannis, etc., and no one comes close to those guys that play outside the nba. (And yeah Luka was not in the Olympics, but he played qualifiers and he is one of the best in the world) There is still a LONG, and I mean, LONG way to go for the leagues to be closer.

Joker was the safety blanket for the team the entire game and unlike pretty much every other player, on the court, he was prioritized defensively. I think Booker indeed does deserve all his flowers. He was probably the most consistent player besides maybe Lebron. He played really solid defense, good decision making, great shots just good stuff all-around. Many other players already posted and talked about his contribution, him being “the glue guy” but always great to see and hope it keeps getting more appreciate it. Some of his final stats for Team USA: 1st in TS% 1st in 3% 2nd in AST 5th in PTS 3rd in OREB 4th in +/- 4th in MIN He was the guy.

I think the reason the games were so close compared to other years is because of the talent spread out throughout other countries. In the 80’s and 90’s, if you wanted to know who the best basketball players in the world were, they were usually American. Now we have Jokic, Giannis, Shai, Wemby, and many other great talents playing for other countries, closing the gap between the U.S. and other countries.

Back then foreign players were paid as much if not more than most NBA players. They had no reason to come over. It also wasn't until the breakup of the ussr and Yugoslavia where eastern Europeans were even allowed to leave Europe. There was a reason why we needed to send NBA players to win. From 1968-1992 The US only won one non boycott gold medal.

In my opinion that 2021 season where curry was without klay bad green for a good part of it was the season that gave us the curry we have now, especially after missing those playoffs, he became a “I want this and I’ll get this” type of player even more than what he was before, got his FMVP the year after with a 10/10 playoff run (not only finals), proved the year after he still got it against the kings, and this year with Olympic gold, even if he showed from the semifinals, these last 4/5 years from curry have been unreal and I love it🙌🏾

Im a kiwi so a kilometer is a part of the metric units of measurement, for every 1km it is 0.62 miles. A lot of the world just use different metric units e.g. You Americans would measure someone's height and say they are 6 feet I would say they are 182 cm, When weighing the mass you would say ounces I would say grams and measuring liquid volumes I believe you say quartz but I could be wrong and I say liters. He rightly ridiculed the obscene arrogance and presumptuousness behind the notion of calling yourself "world champs" just because you won an NBA title.
