Nah...she's lot easier then Malenia. Malenia took 2 hours, because 1,5 of them I tried to figure out how to dodge one attack. Laxasia has no bullshit moves at all, so she took only 15 attempts. And on NG+ and NG++ she died first try. I wish I could fight her longer since boss is perfect...

This is peak boss design when you fight a boss and while lossing your not annoyed at all your happy through and through, i was having fun with this fight no matter how many times i lose.

Man this boss gave so much trouble during my first run. From her unrelenting attacks to her using electricity (which when afflicted will double the incoming damage). Still a fun fight when you finally bet this knight of Simon Manus.

A friend and I kept our playthroughs synced up from the start to the end. So we started the fight against her at the exact same time and beat her within 2 seconds of one another. It was glorious.

Beat this boss, my second try, i was absolutely amazed with myself. I was using the tyrant dagger on the spear handle. Technique heavy build and the acid grindstone. Only once i got to the second face. All i needed to do was heavy attack her over and over with the combo and she dropped like a rock.

This video made my day man lol I started at the d2 channel I mean that my game i started in d1 aswell but when you made this channel it fast became my favorite I don't play cod or alot of from soft games (elden ring) has been my only experience but I've since branched to play them because of all these stories

Although I personally find Gael and Orphan to be better mechanically designed, and Sister Friede and Ludwig have more awe-inspiring presentation, Laxasia is still a masterpiece of a boss fight. One of my all-time favorites, right up there with some of FromSoft's best. As much fun as I was having with the main bosses (that is, a ton), I never imagined a fight like Laxasia was coming. It blew my mind how unhinged yet fair her moveset was. She killed me 35 times, and I had a blast all the way. This game really is something special.

Ive played elden ring, sekiro, darksouls 3, Lords of the fallen (23) and lies of p. In all these games there are good bosses but Laxasia is perfect boss IMO. She has amazing attacks and interactivity, music slaps, and her design in both phases is perfect. The only souls-moveset i would Rank higher than hers would be nameless puppet's. That moveset is lady maria on crack in a deflection game, i mean what more could you ask for. Amazing video BTW

Shes 10/10 boss and i enjoyed every moment of the fight but I wouldn’t say” better than fromsofts best bosses” like sure shes better than the average bosses in fromsofts games but not better than any good or great boss that fromsoft introduced, another point that indicates whether its a good boss or not is the environment around it, music visuals in laxassia the arena is ok (kinda mid arena) , the music is so good especially the second phase but for me i prefer every single soundtrack of good from soft bosses than her 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've beaten Dark Souls all the way to Elden Ring. Laxasia is the first souls like boss to make me change my build. Switched from tech to advance just to drop that acid on her. I love this game!

@@CostasSavvides a perfect boss means a game worth playing to get to it. I loved remnant 1. Couldn’t even get into the second one. It’s like dlc to the first one and at that point it missed for me. I didn’t wanna play the same game twice and that’s pretty much what they did.

I probably got lucky because phase 2 I thought of Gannon and immediately figured out you can deflect her lightning back at her. Other than that with her you can’t be greedy. My brother was mad I beat malenia under leveled in 13 tries. I’m not invincible 😂

Eh, I find phase 2 of both Laxasia and Nameless Puppet an atrocious pain. Moving too fast, erratic combos, either you take a shit ton of damage or you just about parry through them and run out of stamina and they run off to start attacking again before you can land a blow. I do generally love P’s design, but yeah, I feel they tried too hard to make this pair too punishing.

Lies of P never made my list as the inability to make a custom character is what made me go "Meh not worth it." I'm not exactly a fan of the MC's design either. Not saying its bad, just saying its not what I'd enjoy stepping into the shoes of XD. But maybe I'll give it a try when its on sale to get a taste of this boss.

But with every generation more will be improved upon. Oneday Fromsoft will be dethroned and more than likely by Neowiz. I think Lies of P is already a better game than anything fromsoft has made, and if Neowiz keeps making games of this quality Fromsoft will be 2nd to them. Sure they created and ruled the genre, but its about time someone improved on the genre. And Neowiz did exactly that.

Those who think Lies of P is a good game are losers who have been conned. It's completely scripted and linear. Want to attack an enemy or a boss the way that you want ?? Nope, the scripted coding says you can only do it a certain way in a certain hit window at a certain timing window. All these souls fanboys think it's OK to play a memory game learning the bosses move. It's lazy game designing. In good games you can take out the boss first go if you're good enough. And check out how long to takes just to pick up loot. WTF ?? The i-frames are just mini loading screens. The small stamina resources are a cheats way to make it difficult. The devs couldn't even design several difficulty settings like AAA games do ?! It's not worth the money for the short playing time, and there's no real replayability. The enemies are always in the same spot.

I'll forever stick with saying Lies of P is better than any Fromsoft game. Lies of P became my favorite game ever and Neowiz has dethroned fromsoft. They did such an amazing job on lies of P and I can't express how much I love this game.

The need to downplay Fromsoft says a lot about how well this game would fare if not promoted so hard by Fromsoftware fans. The process of dethroning the company that owns the most awarded game OF ALL TIME, begins with winning an award, oops a nomination? That all? It is nevertheless a great game, that shall remain as true as the fact that Elden Ring DLC alone will sell more than any game Neowiz has ever made.

I still love fromsoft. I also believe that Shadow of the Erdtree will outsell anything from Neowiz. Lies of P only sold 1 million copies. They are still a small company that needs to make themselves seen by everyone just like Elden Ring has. And with time I believe they will. In my opinion Lies of P is better than anything Fromsoft has made, and with time more people will realize what Neowiz is capable of making. @@uzzionpathak2637
