When you are measuring the distance to the oche, you should also consider that no carpenter would ever use a plastic tape measure. Those aren't accurate. If a tape measure has been certified you know how accurate it is.

Love the idea of a mission 2 pack of tungsten, keep it simple straight barrel with even distance rings so cheaper to produce (the most common beginner choice) 23g (the median of everyone’s weight choice) and medium length shafts (because it’s it’s the middle) and if you can keep a twin pack sub £40 you’ll be on to a winner not only with pubs/clubs who can ask for a deposit but also players like me who have a home setup and can get a pack for when guests come over for drinks and games (I hate sharing my custom darts)

A great venue for me is also accessibility, is it easy to get to other than by car? Is it active, do they host a lot of leagues / tournaments? Do they have a little cabinet with spare parts when you wreck a stem? How is it to spectate? Throwing darts is great, but what's the experience like watching your mate play?

I think excess by foot or public transit is just as important. Because we have to be honest, most people will have a couple of beers when playing darts. So parking is nice, but being accessible by foot or public is just as important.

Do not do half scores, 10 is already a scale that's plenty broad for what you are reviewing. And don't go 11 and 0 that's just silly, the scoring as you said is from 1-10. I'm fine with your criteria, i think as long as your criteria is well thought out and standard across the board, it's gonna be perfect. That's why I think the only issue with your scoring system is the scoreboards. You both can have slightly differing opions, you can never have zero subjectivity to a review like this, but the way you define your scoring criteria the alternating scoring negates this effect perfectly for most categories. But scoreboards is the worst one, cause u don't have a standard criteria. So whom gives the score for the scoreboards has an actual impact on the overall score unlike the other categories, as Andy is just always much more strict. So either Andy would have to ease up, or Matt would have to understand and agree on what score means what standard when it comes to scoring scoreboards. I think you guys should write these points down once together, what you both agree is a 10 etc.
