Everyone is missing the point, each one of these people will run into a hail of bullets and put their lives in danger to save a life or rescue a wounded comrade, they do this as a second job for fun - massive respect to all military bandsmen, from an ex combat soldier.

@@jigler The branches of the U.S. Military each have an extensive band program. Mulitiple units for each service Branch. The Air Force band that bases out of Joint Base Andrews is tops. It does outreach shows and the annual Holiday performance is awesome. I am sure both nations treat the band as extensions for public outreach.

Never had the privilege of serving in HM forces but I echo the massive respect. Not to mention the greatest band of any genre. Having seen the film seven times I never thought anyone would do this song justice.....

I had the honour and privilege of serving. What I like about this, is that the 'backing band' were obviously service women, with their energetic stamping (could only be learned on a parade ground with a shouty RSM).

Bring it back....... its never gone away, its just been minus an audience last year and this year and the tickets are on sale for next year they raise money for the Royal Marines charity and they do concerts all over the country but this is the highlight of the year
