RULES
- No DLC, path bonuses, visitation bonuses, or battle bonuses are allowed.
- I have unlimited food and gems.
- I can acquire a Chef's Hat. I cannot visit other castles for any other purpose.
- I may manipulate results from the Mess Hall according to the abilities of my best chef. (So I can't get Exquisite meals until I acquire Jakob, Peri, or Percy.)
- No random events in My Castle (Lottery Shop, conversations around the castle, etc.) are allowed. Birthdays are included in this ban. I may use the Private Quarters once, immediately after chapter 6, when it is not random.
- Facilities like Lilith's Temple and the Prison that refresh over time may only be used once between maps. The exception is that I can use them, upgrade them, and then immediately use them again.
- I cannot bribe prisoners.

Actual mad lad moment. Using Mozu without growths. I remember Chess doing a sorcerer Mozu endgame 1 turn with 0 growths, but an actual run? Insane.

I’m glad there’s a heart seal to spare for Mozu, even on a no-growths run. I recently picked up Birthright again and she’s a wonderful unit who just gave me a wonderful Midori.

@@asmontosborne3111 Oh, I’m doing a canon classes run, so nothing too interesting! She got Aptitude from Mozu and Locktouch from Kaze because I was planning on retiring him from the squad and had no other treasure chest utility. She just got a perfect level up and a perfect level up minus Magic in a row, though, so I felt like bragging about my new daughter. Aptitude’s no joke.

@@eyegnats Aptitude is great, honestly. I'm on Chapter 25 of Lunatic Conquest, and Mozu (15/17 Kinshi Knight) is like 3-4 points ahead on most of her averages. She married Silas and had Sophie (who inherited Quick Draw and Aptitude, then married Percy for lol damage stack), who has also been a very consistent performer. Still, Quick Draw + Bowfaire + Elbow Room Mozu is busted. I can never thank Zoran enough for making me discover the joys of damage stacking.

@@covershopkid I mean, I have a Percy that inherited Elbow Room and Quick Draw. Add Str +2 and Trample (and soon Axefaire too) and Percy has been OHKOing most frail enemies ever since I recruited him. I should really try doing something like that with Corrin.

Gotta love the mention and setup for the possibility of Sniper Nyx, it may not be the most optimal, but using Nyx with the Shining Bow is certainly some of the most fun you can have in a Fire Emblem Game

Great video. Somewhat random question about Fates. Is there a simple way to burn RNs in Conquest similar to FE7 with moving the Pegasus Knights around?

Not for battle outcomes or stat gains on levels, no. Cursor dancing might affect enemy movement when their pathing gives them multiple valid destinations, but I suspect the RNG for that simply cycles by frame.

@@Zoran501 Cool. Thanks for confirming this. I've done Lunatic the traditional way and was considering using Casual mode for the battle saves so I wouldn't have to start over after my inevitable mistakes, and was curious if I could burn RNs so I wouldn't know the outcomes when loading a battle save. Edit: I just kept going on Lunatic Classic and just beat the game. I really enjoy this difficulty, but once I got to Takumi's map, I went back to turtling and relying basically on just Xander, Corrin, Mozu, Kaze, and Ophelia (mostly to open the door in Chapter 26 since I didn't get her Life and Death for Chapter 25) for the rest of the game as usual. My next run will definitely be on Casual mode so I can experiment with different strategies with battle saves or I might check out those Nintendo PCs that can play 3DS games.

You mentioned that the first 5 rounds of combat are the only ones that yield weapon xp, is this for the enemy in general or 5 rounds for each individual unit per enemy?

For each enemy, no matter which units are involved. If character A fights a particular enemy solo five times and then character B kills it in a subsequent combat round, character B gets no WEXP from that.

I don't remember this happening in my hard mode playthroughs. I remember grinding Felicia on archer at the fort for like on hour and getting her all the way to b rank daggers (cursed I know). Is this a lunatic only mechanic like the exp decay in awakening or the halved exp in 3h maddening?
