I get having those moments when it's really hard on u because your child doesn't do things other kids can or doesn't make milestones in time. But like u said the difference she's made in people's lives n the love she spreads is beyond words. I like how u don't try to pretend to be perfect n act like everything is ok all the time but also how u move on n roll past it. For me,it makes me that much more excited when my daughter does something for the first time or something I'm totally surprised she can do. And as far as the Instagram thing,at least u don't have to worry about online bullying or internet predators with her. Just thought I'd point out the positives about it. U guys made me cry. It's not the first time n I'm sure it won't be the last. Happy really late birthday Abby.

I cried thru your whole video. We haven't missed the milestones yet. Gabi just turned 5 and watching your video , especially the end, I thought about those things and realized how painful it could be at these times. I send you both a great big hug. The funny part is I wouldn't change a thing about my granddaughter. She has enriched our lives in every way. My daughter and son in law are the best and have a great support system which includes Gabi's first in home therapist. Gabi and her sister are in his wedding in 2 weeks. God bless

On another note, I can absolutely relate to the end of this vlog where you are talking Asa. As much as I enjoy celebrating my son's birthday and despite how much I love him, I also get sad. It's just another reminder of "what should of been" and a reminder of all the things he should be doing at this age. I see all the kids reaching milestones in his class and in our church and I am sad to think my child might not ever reach those same goals. I see all the other families on social media having "normal" lives and doing things they take for granted and I am envious. I find myself getting angry at those people who are complaining about their problems in life and saying what a bad day they had. I WISH I had their problems. Their "bad day" would be a dream come true to me. Sorry, I'll stop. Didn't mean to bring down the mood of the vlog. Just having one of those days.

Don't compare to other people and "missed" milestones. She's her own person that will shine and succeed in her own way. Some of her strengths may be weaknesses for other people and some of her weaknesses may be strengths for others, but each person is different. She's only 13 and still has a lot of life ahead of her; she will get there one day. Also, life is so much better without social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
