In my humble opinion the NBC live version wasn't very good Morrison"s performance as The Grinch paled in comparison to Patrick Page"s Grinch

This is before the show was revised to give Max the Dog a larger speaking/singing role with the addition of This Time of Year and the removal of Once in a Year, which is replaced by It’s The Thought That Counts. Also, the beginning of the show has Welcome Christmas from the animated special added to the start of the show.

This is the best broadway musical I’ve ever seen.set is exactly like the book costumes everything down to the music.i was also watching Matthew Morrison play grinch witch I strongly hated due to the fact that the way the director of the show came up with his ideas for costumes and how to have his actors perform.absolutely terrible looked nothing like the book.If you want to ever watch a good broadway grinch musical go to the old globe or any show like in this video
