I have to tack on with the hate these commentators are getting. They had knowledge of the game they just couldn't stop shit talking almost every other interaction. Im not opposed to harsh critique, but there comes a point where you just come across as an elitist prick.

Just watched an amazing set and immediately went to the comments to see if anyone else thought the commentary was way too critical of these guys. Glad I’m not crazy, both peanut and chewy did amazing jobs with low tier characters. No reason to constantly ride their ass about every whiffed punish or ledge option

I don't think it's a bad thing to call out mistakes. It can explain it for the audience. It doesn't imply that commentators are better imo, they know it. I didn't notice if they did it too much though, I can see that being annoying in case. I mean even I could point some mistakes a top player does, and I am a casual player in the end. That doesn't mean I think I'm better, on the contrary

It's not bad tho, not everyone understand how mac plays, they've seen peanut play dozens and dozens of times, they know the mistakes that mac can do. Same with Junior.

@@HyronXVI it's one thing to have constructive criticism, but what they were doing was just borderline ego feeding. it was anytime they did anything suboptimal. after a while i was honestly just sick of hearing their input. like i get talking about mistakes that will change the course of the set, but they were just micro analyzing everything

that happens when little mac hits his opponent with the first frame of his up smash. it's the sweet spot of the move. deals more damage and knockback.
