If Mr Cold had been less animated, as he was in the first few money shots, then I would have lost sleep. The gravitas he had just standing there was enough. The closer the camera got to him, the more unsettling. That face was more than enough :)

I really really liked your use of sound, or rather, the lack thereof. WHen the smiling man enters the house, there's no stinger or loud burst of music. There was a whole movie about it called 'The Mothman Prophesies' and the sketches on the end credits look like The Grinning Man who was seen in the 1950's and 1960's. Also the lead character's name is Karl Ardo; Karl Ardo was also another name given to The Grinning Man.

The smiling man was different. The Grinning Man is a real urban legend from the 1950's/60's. The Grinning Man or Mothman was thought to be an alien or government agent. There's an audio interview on KZbin from the 50's with a man who met The Grinning Man.
