Played the base game for a week. One of the great games of our time imo. Excited to slowly add some more of the expansion or Armistice content, just hoping it doesn’t change too much, too quickly.

we're played it (about 4 or 5 times so far) at our weekly game board group and we still haven't won a game. :D Very good expansion, I gotta get it. Big fan of this game!

I am sold. This seems to add a lot of flavor to the game's narative theme. Does it make the game have a more cinematic feel?

I've won this game a couple of times. I would say you win only 15-20% of the games. I feel the expansion will take out that "loop" in where you sometimes falland in a matter of time you lose the game.

Excellent review. I love Grizzled (despite its depressing theme) but have never won a game. I'll probably pick up the expansion.

I thought the "mission " idea was a good idea... I like the standee's. I thought it gave me some options I didn't have before. I love the game. Thanks for the review

Do I have to own the original version to be able to play?

Yes, it's an expansion to the original game, not a stand alone product.

A lot of these balance changes seem to make the game a bit easier? I never had a problem with the difficulty of the base game to begin with.

this is a notoriously difficult game. good on you for being good at it though.
