The Ground Truth - Protecting the Siuslaw National Forest

Once I realized how most of the forests left in Oregon were essentially plantations for the timber industry or lost in fires, I felt a little hopeless about old growth here in Oregon. Makes me feel so happy to see that there is in fact more surviving old growth than I initially thought and that people are working to protect it with stronger legislation for the future. Signed up and looking forward to doing some ground truthing!
