I'm literally only a couple of minutes in and I feel like I've gotta share how upsetting that opening message was. Not that it was included, of course (love The Fear Files) but how it was worded, what he said...it made my blood run cold. My ex, the father of my child, would say overly "romantic" things like that to me often in the beginning of our relationship. In fact, two of my exes said the same kind of stuff, so similar to that it makes me feel ill. Both of them turned out to be incredibly abusive, possessive, jealous, obsessive psychopaths. My child's father is looking at 5 years in prison for what he did to me the last time he abused us. I'm writing this to tell women AND men, if someone is intense like this, but then closed off at times, jealous, questions why you do normal things, always suspicious that you're cheating, anything like that--run. Run before it gets worse. If you've stayed, because TRUST ME, I know how hard it is to leave for so many reasons...never, ever tell your abuser that you're leaving. When you can, and you're not around them, gather up a bag of things you need. Make sure someone you trust, a family member or friend, knows what you are doing and when you plan to do it. Again, do not tell your partner that you're going to leave...EVER. Even if you're fighting and you WANT to say "I'm leaving!!!" Don't. The moment people tell their abusers that they're leaving, or try to leave in font of them, is the most dangerous moment of that relationship. Once you're alone, grab that bag and run. No "romantic" partner is worth your safety, your life. I'm working with a therapist now to try to be able to trust myself. I see the red flags and ignore them because I don't care about myself. Now I have a child, I have to care. I have to protect us. I have to learn what a normal relationship is. I've never had one. There has always been abuse of many forms. I know I'm not alone in this. Sorry this got long. That opening statement he made just really got to me. That gross, sticky sweet, overly "romantic" bullshit they say thinking it'll be hook, line, and sinker...it makes me ill. Please, be safe.
@Nina-kt9fc2 жыл бұрын
I feel a bit silly for writing a novel in the comment section but I'm going to keep it up. If even one person sees this and it helps them or someone they know, it's worth it. Honestly, my son and I just got away from our abuser in October, it's still pretty fresh and stories like this are absolutely terrifying...to see where things were heading. And spot on, The Fear Files, about both parties in abusive relationships going to great lengths to hide the abuse. God, the lies I had to tell, the illusion I had to create...always to make HIM look good, and probably to make me look NOT stupid for staying (a lot of people don't understand that staying isn't stupidity, but rather, it's fear). Don't put your hands on other people in a violent way. It doesn't seem that fucking hard. What is wrong with people...

No Joke. They stay home and served the Males! Then they get married. In those Countries, Females are low! They got nothing to say. When you grow up in that culture, when you see your grandpa, father behave like that, got no problems to slap your mum, then it is normal for you. In those Countries is no chance for divorce. Suicide rate is 300% for women's. Women's suffer by Acid attacks 😨, or get stabbed to death. If you are a good Muslim, got connections and money, they will always be protected. A woman's life is not worth a lot. It is sad, but the Truth. Can you imagine how a Capital City at evening looks like, which got over 15 Million Peoples, and all Men outside in the Street? Go to Egypt. Those are just men who get aroused, too. Imagine a tourist running around dressed sexy in the evening. That's like live porn for them. It's crazy how naive women are and fly to such countries, sometimes alone, to go on vacation. There are so many cases where tourists allegedly jumped from the 4th floor. Simply that way. What does a person have to feel to choose suicide. These men don't know any different. You see yourself in the right. As in this case. He's the victim! He suffers! I was with my abusive ex for several years. He alienated me from my friends and family, we could only hang out with his circle. If he left the house he took my car keys because he didn't want me going anywhere. When he impregnated me against my will, beat me so my body had a miscarriage, then blamed me for losing the child, I finally had enough. I hid my keys claiming they got lost before another weekend of him doing whatever he pleased with whomever. As soon as he left the house I called my childhood best friend in tears and explained to her everything that happened. She arrived half an hour later with her husband and a pick up truck. They helped me pack in a few hours, I grabbed my dog and never looked back. No person that loves you will abuse you. Don't tolerate it, leave. You deserve to be loved.

If you are reading this (male or female) and are being abused by your partner please leave they will not change, it’s not going to get better, and they don’t really love you. No one who loves you could abuse you. Most importantly… it isn’t your fault it is the abusers fault. When you decide to leave DONT tell your abuser you are leaving… most people in abusive relationships are killed when they say they are leaving so just act normal let them go to work or go out with friends and then get out and take only what you need.

A little tidbit about his "JinnKid" name (See his eyes at 6:21): Jinn in Arabic refers to an intelligent life form that's usually refer to as "devils" or "demons" or "evil spirits" in English. The thing is, jinns aren't necessarily evil. Just like humans, there are good and there are bad ones. With that said, most of the time when people talk about jinns, it's usually in a negative manner. So that's already a red flag to me.

I lost my beautiful cousin to domestic violence. She was a week away from graduating San Diego state university and her ex shot her then killed himself.. I still don’t forgive him and I don’t think I will ever.. it’s been over 10 years.. she was only 22 when her life ended.. this guy is pathetic and I hope he never has a good nights sleep for the rest of his horrible life.. I pray for peace for her family and friends, and her daughter. She lost her mom and her dad in one day.. ❤️

I’ve known narcissists my life entire life and he fits all the classic traits perfectly. When he heard them laughing, that would’ve triggered a catastrophic narcissistic injury. Narcissists are incredibly fragile and insecure beneath their fake confident exterior. Too insecure to trust they have to control by any means possible. Narcissistic personality disorder(NPD) is pretty much incurable with around 5% of population having NPD All relationships with narcissists end badly with much emotional abuse. My mother had NPD and I was drawn to naturalistic women and they were drawn to me as good narcissistic supply. I wish I knew what I know today because it would’ve saved me a lot of heartache. No contact is the best way to deal with a narcissist. Save yourself!

The scars have faded but they will always be with me.

This wont happen if only the police and the whole system took this seriously. The girl reported this and asked for a restraining order. The apartment complex should’ve been more tight and strict. This is a lesson to all the women out there who is in abusive relationship to be more vigilant… and if you want to end the relationship make sure to run away. Run as far as you can. Disappear. Make sure your partner wont find you. Do it for yourself and for your loved ones. Always assume that your abusive partner may kill you. Always think ahead. Save yourself. @Disappointment bruh you cant expect the police to stop every crime from happening. Its the citizen that should be aware of whats happening to their surroundings. For example in this case, when she noticed that her ex got a key to their apartment. And knowing the hes gone crazy Theirs a lot of options she could have done, she could have asked the super to change the knobs of her door, change, ask the security in her building to call her when every visitor comes. Move to another place. Theres probably more ways this crime could have been prevented if the victim took actions to protect herself. blame the police? Smh

This narcissist was obsessed with himself and only himself, not with her. He saw his beautiful wife as an extension of himself, an extended part of his ego that had no purpose other than to serve his needs, his image, and his greed for attention and status. Imho an important distinction, because his dehumanization of his wife was evident long before the murders. If the police and judiciary were trained in the signs of COERCIVE CONTROL, these murders/femicides would be preventable (as was also the case with Gabby Petito, for example).
