The GT4 Gets Its First Wash

I've been driving the GT4 a bunch, and it's getting pretty filthy. I thought it'd be a good idea to give it the first full wash since coating it. I'm still not sure if I enjoy washing this car as much as the M3, but the GT4 has grown on me quite a bit. It'll be staying for quite some time. I'm also trying out some Koch Chemie Gsf (Gentle Snow Foam) soap to see how it compares to Adam's Car Shampoo.

Great Vlog, I use a lot of Bilt Hamber products here in the UK. Auto foam, Auto wheels and Surfex HD (APC) are all excellent products.

GSF can be used as a shampoo but is more suited to a prewash snow foam. It has very little cleaning ability when used as a pre wash but Greenstar can be added for more bite. You’ll like Bilt Hamber, we love them here in the UK. Auto Foam is the best pre wash. Doesn’t give thick foam but you don’t need that. It cleans really well and will give rid of the bugs you have over there.

Matt, if the APC messed the finish up you can go ahead and strip that color off with an old school method of spraying oven cleaner on the fitting. It will eat away the anodizing. Take some wheel polish and have a cool clean ( and different )fitting again for a back up on the cabinet.

ADBL makes awesome foams, shampoos and sealants. I’m using the Yeti Snowfoam and the Synthetic Spray Wax and I don‘t think there is anything better tbh. (In my opinion of course)

Speaking of the civic you can use mini Cooper rotors which are 11 inch rotors with Acura TL or RL four piston calipers, There is a website that sells the bracket and I believe you can use a prelude brake master cylinder to upgrade from the 3/8 Brake master cylinder to a 1 inch master cylinder

Not true , it got washed twice at the factory , then at the port when it came off the ship, then before it went into US customs inspection , then when it was released to Porsche USA and got fitted for US software and emissions , it got washed again ..... then when it got off the truck at the dealer I’m sure they rinsed it to accept it from the trucking company

CCWNYC the white protection film is only put on before they leave for shipping . Go on a factory tour and you’d learn how many times the cars are water tested and washed during not 1 but 3 inspections after each test drive . And yes the are washed with the white film to get the salt off them from being at ports and on the ship

Why don't you have the kränzle quadro with the total stop I think it has the same specs with your well-mounted kränzle with the stainless steel case but it is more accessible and has total stop function You could make it like a specific spot for it which then is elevated by actuators I am not sure if it is quieter but I think it is

Quadro, has much less output. They are 18mm pumps. This is a 20mm. Plus the Quadro has the same 30 second time delay as this.

Matt, Love the channel and love the content however you must know that foaming and then washing without a rinse makes zero sense. Why would you not rinse and then follow up with a wash? All the crap that the snow foam loosens is then just getting marred into the paintwork . . . . Rinse to get rid and the wash please . . . .
