Hey Matt. Thank you for the transparency of who you really are. I made a comment recently about you being one of the most obsessed people I have ever seen and then learned that you really do struggle with anxiety. SO DO I. I want that exact pressure washer set up at my home and I will be buying that very soon. I picked up auto detailing again during the pandemic and I love your passion and obsession. That trip provided clarity for me too man! Weird but gotta take it when it comes I guess. Loved being up there w like minded people and our cars. You should’ve done a rip through hellbender in my GT500. The sounds and shifts would have given you some 3RS feels I think for sure. GT4 journey was fun to watch

Love it! I have a 2022 GT3 Cup car that's currently being raced in the North American Carrera Cup Series, a 992 GT3, and my GT4 RS arrives in October. Next is the 992 GT3 RS. I'm guessing it will be officially announced sometime in June!

You should consider a Spyder for the mountains. Haven’t seen you in a ‘vert to my knowledge. For that specific duty it may be a game changer for you.

My wife hates the brake noise from my Carbotechs. I love their stopping power though, Great for braking late into the corner. I hope to get back to Fontana Village next year, need new tires and brakes first... Gonna have to buy one of the Active 2.0, those numbers are crazy.

I reside in Canada, but renting 150-250k$ cars like a GT3 / Turbo, R8, Huracan or V8 Ferraris, are priced between 1200-2000$ PER DAY. (6-10k$ per week!!) If I were you Matt, id rent-out to this 991.1 RS to your 'borrowers" for no less than 600$ a day, or around 3.5k$ per/week WITH a limited # of miles. Roughly DOUBLE the cost of what you've been thinking, but still roughly half of these big dog rental companies. G80 id put at a flat 200$/D, 999$/W to almost always simultaneously have it rented to the ones already renting the house. Just my 2 cents!

Hi Matt. You can easily find out if people who borrow your cars in the future are taking good care of them. Rob Ferretti of the superspeedersRob KZbin channel and the exotic car rental company Gotham Dream Cars uses a GPS tracking service to monitor his fleet and would be a great person to speak with. Please watch his video "How I Caught A Customer Doing Burnouts Via GPS Tracking" starting at the 3 min 45 sec mark where he demonstrates that the service can provide full trip logging on a map as well as alerts for events such harsh braking, fast acceleration, etc. I hope that this info is helpful.

Does james get the same numbers at his place? With the original version a lot of KZbinrs were getting 800 psi or so with the recommended 4.0 nozzle. I settled with a 3.0, with that less flow.

I am the KZbinr. Their numbers don't matter unless they test all machines. The numbers mean very little stand alone. It is relative to all pressure washers.

Matt - Should have considered sending your GT4 to Deman Motorsports in NY for the 4.0L to 4.5L conversion. Tom Segura and Matt Farah both said best Porsche, or car for that matter, that they’ve ever driven (incl. any GT3). Just had my 718 Spyder gears (2-5) shortened by Deman and its now perfection! Not cheap, but highly recommend 👍

~1000-1100 psi is a good safe number that won't do damage unless the paint is already damaged/flaking off...

I've spent a lot of time working on dialing the pressure and flow to a spec that is more effective and safer for washing cars. 1000 PSI is my personal favorite target with as much flow as possible. I want to be able to hold the my hand in the stream without it hurting. If it doesn't hurt my hand, it won't hurt the paint.

$65 for the car seems to be about $5K less than they are selling stock. I'm saying you could buy it as is for $80 or $85, but I'd do better taking the stuff off and selling the parts separately. I think the ridiculousness of CCB on a Tesla is what is appealing.
