why aren't there more videos?

Hi Allen, thanks, we'll take that as a compliment. We're working on it, and have many more videos coming for you in the future. There is a lot of research, planning, practice and production time involved in each one, and I also run a large school full time. Doing our best, thanks for your patience :) - Patrick

Great video once again. Just wondering, what styles have you done? Have you done sanshou?
@EffectiveMartialArts8 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Elliot, glad you enjoyed it. Many more to come! In answer to your questions, Effective Martial Arts is a curriculum that includes techniques inspired mainly from Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Judo, BJJ, Kung Fu and Krav Maga. I can't say I have done Sanshou specifically. - Patrick

“Effective martial arts”? YOU MUST read “Myths and blind spots in the fighting arts’ world”. It’s definitely up your alley.

What is your personal view about karate???? I saw that you didn't include that in your effective martial art...Regards

Thanks for your question, C 14 IPS. Although karate offers techniques that do work, western boxing and muay thai have proven themselves superior for striking in MMA tournaments. The concept of EMA is to include only the most effective techniques for each range of fighting, in order to cut the learning curve for our students. Hope this helps. - Patrick
