I consume about 6 different news sources every day... All the way from the mail to NPR and I have to say, I don't think the Guardian is actually that bad. It's like the BBC but less patronising. I don't really tuck into the OP-EDs but I find it far less obvious in it's attempts to propagandise it's readers than The Mail or The Telegraph...

The Guardian certainly has it's flaws... Especially within it's OP-ED offering but it's still the only major newspaper in the UK owned in trust. I.e the people who work for the paper have full control over the editing. Virtually every other major paper is owned by a private organisation or individual and is beholden to the views of its wealthy (and often nefarious) owners.
