Something satisfying about smashing through crowds of spiders with the double lasers and replenishing anything you may have lost in the process! Even the music is fun at this part! Thanks for watching 🙂

Ah yes that's exactly what that is! The ending credits of this game lists the games that the music tracks were taken from but it doesn't tell you which tracks they were or where they were used. It would be nice to have a list and comments like this are actually starting to make this comments section into a sort of unofficial list! Thanks for watching!

5:27 is that a Dignal from Terranigma? and 41:03 isn't that the boss music from Battle Formula?

It is a Dignal from Terranigma! One of the interesting things about playing through this game was discovering what assets from other games would be used, including the audio. Some of them I'm still not sure of but could have sworn I've heard before. One of those was the song at 41:03 you mentioned but yeah that's totally the boss theme from Battle Formula/Super Spy Hunter for the NES. Thanks for identifying that one! It definitely had that Sunsoft sound to it but I wasn't familiar with that song. Thanks for watching!

2:16:31 - What is Area 8's theme from?

This is the title screen theme from Destiny of an Emperor 2 for the Famicom. I've heard it's actually pretty fun but haven't played it myself. Slowly but surely we're building a list of where all the songs in this game are from. Thanks for watching and congrats for putting in the time to get a level 99 character in Diablo 2. That takes forever!

Is corridor 6's opening tied to your score? I'm absolutely stumped on it. I also have no earthly clue how I opened 5 either tbh.

Ooooh I remember this one had me stumped too. You need to enter the corridor room with zero health. You can see it at 53:05 or so in the video. Pretty sure corridor 5 had to do with lowering your chips to a certain amount by the way. Good luck and thanks for watching!

@@subledger. Damn, thanks! I would have never figured that one out. I can get the logic now, 0 health being more strict than 0 credits, but it seems poorly thought as a hint.
@subledger.
@subledger. 9 ай бұрын
@@chukyuniqul Yeah that's tricky. The hint says it's more strict than corridor 5 which is true, but it's health instead of chips. I also went back and looked at 6:25 and it looks like corridor 5 opened when my chip count dropped below 80. It's been so long since I've played this that I don't remember too much so it might be time to play it again. Good luck with the rest of the game!

what are "tablets" for?
@subledger.
@subledger. Жыл бұрын
That's a great question and I'm not sure. There are nine areas in the game (Area 0 through Area 8) and I found a tablet in each one so as far as I know I got them all. I'm curious if the gate to the final corridor will not open unless all tablets are discovered. Since I already had them all at that point I'm not sure what happens if you get there without all of them. Zanac mentions the tablets during the ending sequence and is able to grab some coordinates from them which seems to potentially set the game up for a sequel but I'm not sure if the ending is different if you don't find them all, or if there's a tenth one that I never discovered for that matter. I suppose the other possibility is that they are simply collectibles that don't add anything extra to the game. I'd be interested to know for sure if anyone looking at this has any insight. Thanks for watching by the way!

@@subledger. perhaps these "tablets" give more movement speed? The character began to move noticeably faster when more "tablets" were found
@subledger.
@subledger. Жыл бұрын
@@urmannjoe6550 Possibly but in the original game for the NES your movement speed increased when you got your defense up to level 5. Could have been something like that in this game as well. I honestly didn't notice it as it was happening!
