Lets not forget to mention the bands entire 14 ( RCA ) album career producer Jack Richardson . Jack believed in the groups potential so strongly he mortgaged his home in 1969 to get the band to ( RCA ) New York studios to record These Eyes . Burton Cummings said " we never found out about this very gutsy move by Jack until years later ." All the chart success by the Guess Who might not have happened if not for the will of Mr . Richardson to see this band achieve their dream . As I like to say Winnipeg , Manitoba , was home and they rocked the world .

Burton Cummings' phenomenal vocals but also the way the harpsichord-sounding keyboards combine with the symphonic background and the horn section... perfection.

My cousin and I both love the guess who (our moms are sisters and grew up on their music). When I saw they were coming on tour near us, I called her and she said we had to go see them no matter what. The last time I saw her, we talked about the concert and how to get tickets when they went on sale. We were both really happy to imagine we would get to see them in person! Two weeks later she was killed in a car accident. I can’t ever hear the guess who again without thinking of her. RIP sweet Anna. We miss you so much.
