You are right! Why aren't they in the RaRHoF? On the other hand, we should not have any respect for RaRHoF, once about more than 20 yrs. ago they have inducted the band of Bruce Springsteen (only his band), while there have been a long waiting line of real stars and talents. No respect for RaRHoF!!!!

@@gregoryduncan3067 The recording had what sounded like a few strings, if I remember correctly. Maybe not though. This song was popular when I was a child, early '70's. This song was also playing on the radio when we were driving on the freeway, (1986) and the boyfriend I was with at that time, started singing along with it, looking at me, directing the song at me, to manipulatively make his point. I hate it when men use songs to master-manipulate us! He was trying to guilt trip me, because I was thinking about leaving him, because he was abusive. Abusive, controling men know how to "work" their women, to get them to do whatever they want. Well, hearing him sing this song at me, with that sad-act expression on his face, was enough to make me stay with him, (until the next time he was abusive).
