What temperature range iron would you recommend for guitar work? I have a cheap old single temp iron that I need to replace and am looking at soldering stations on Amazon. Some go up to 475 degrees and others up to twice that at around 980 degrees. Which is best for pickup swaps etc.?

Can you do a video on a 2 volume , ( no tone pots) , coil split , 2 Humbuckers 3 way switch both blade and toggle hook up. I looked on the website and found no schematics for it. Thanks in advance.

Thumbnail says: "Lean how to solder". Dylan says at the beginning: "At the end we will show you *how* you can learn to make perfect solders" + onscreen bulletpoint: "LEARN TO SOLDER" 🔚7 minutes later: I realized, I watched a 7 minutes ad and only know how bad solders look like on a bad photograph and *where* I can learn to solder - by buying your course. I am used to clickbaits with pretty women in the thumbnail, but having been clickbaited by solder is new to me. 😁 I get your intention and everybody has to look out for themselves in a way, but that was really annoying. He actually has a video about soldering, for anyone who want to know: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZusZaVuZ7Nmq7M

Hi Dylan, Question: I'm a lefty and cant find a lefty push/push tone audio pot. Is it true, that you can convert a linear pot into an audio pot just by soldering a resistor to it? If yes, have you ever tried? If this works I guess it would be a good thing to make a video about it as a lot of guitarists are switching from linear to audio pots. THX.

I am a huge fan of your channel. I think the fact that you have content on SkillShare is great. I am considering signing up for SkillShare just to see your video(s).Although, I would be careful about posting long videos on KZbin that look like they are about teaching you “How to Solder” when they are essentially just a commercial for your Skillshare course. I will continue to look forward to your KZbin videos as a long time subscriber to your channel and I have huge amount of respect for you. But, I f I did not know much about you and I watched the video that was titled as a tutorial and it turned out after we’re real minutes to be a commercial... i’m not sure that I would want to watch your other videos. Just an FTI. To be clear, I have no problem with what you did (I’m actually excited for you now that you have a Skillshare course) just how you titled the KZbin video which comes across as missleading. Again, huge fan

Great vids on Skillshare! The terms "pre-tinning" and "mechanical connection" would helped you better convey info to students. Keep up the great work. Hopefully you'll add modules to your Skillshare lessons.

No, for the misleading title.

I don't find it misleading since he did explain how you can use Skillshare to learn how to do exactly that. If you have a problem with paying to learn skills then find another video, but that alone doesn't make it misleading. You're out an entire click and gained a little bit more insight on how not to do something which is definitely part of learning how to actually do anything right...
