Robert Patrick in Terminator 2 did a decent job. Maybe one itty bitty blink during a face close up -of almost two magazine dumps of a Beretta.

Here that time where I recite that useless bit of trivia i learned years ago, have not repeated since, and will likely never mention again. In the karl urban doom movie the cast actually went through extensive weapons training before the filming because they were meant act like a real veteran combat team. If you pay close attention, at no point does any main character blink while firing their weapon. Even better, new rookie on the team actually blinks every time he fires his weapon. I believe there was a special feature showing this on the DVD. A lot of people trash the doom movie but its personally one of my favorites. Wouldnt expect that sort of commitment from a "hell zombies on mars" movie

Oh god yes this is so annoying. I vividly remember the first time I saw it in Taxi Driver when De Niro is at the shooting range. All I could think of is this character is suppose to be a Vietnam vet but looks scared to death while shooting. Since then I see it all the time and I can not help but notice it in every movie.

It's true! Just means "normal" people have never fired a gun.
