Enter The Gungeon, first released in 2016, is an indie rogue-like bullet-hell game that I've played countless hours of on both Nintendo Switch and PC. This is a video were I explain the perspectives on the game that I've gained which have contributed to my enjoyment and improvement of EtG. I call these perspectives the "Gungeon Mindset".

I always try to go for bonus floors but every time I beat the rat I just feel tired. If you can beat the rat you can beat everything else. Kinda wish he was later on as a optional challenge before you leave the gungeon after the dragun.

i used to hate on the baseball bat for being so dangeours to use. Dont get me wrong, it is dangerous to use but its fairly OP aswell. Enemies are running at you regardless and you can oneshot multiple enemies in one hit. The range is greater than it seems, you destroy bullets while you swing the bat, it oneshots everything, spiders, iron maidens, swordguys, everything. i Learned to love and enjoy that thing but i also like to play with the fire sometimes :D

Great video. I love this game so much. I’ve finally defeated the past of each character and it only took me a couple years of practice lol. There’s still so much I haven’t done, I expect to be playing this game for years longer. And for the record, I paused and read the blurb. Thanks for the warning about the safe lil nook. (And of course he didn’t)

So a couple days ago I started a new save. There were 2 reasons, the main one being a platform switch to pc, the other being my old one was bugged and refused to drop the Trank Gun, thus preventing me from getting the finished gun. But I haven't died yet. I've killed 2 pasts and haven't died. I've played way too much gungeon.

100% achievements But yet... I still have never collected Bullet Knight's synergy armor! Bro, so many runs and yet never collected! I was 1 piece away from collecting full set, but no luck :(

I totally feel you on this one. Was in a very similar boat and only got the full set once without mods. what did the trick for me personally was eyeing the correct chest types (one red, one green, two blue) and specifically TRYING to get the full set. But the RNG is rough most of the time T_T

Yes. Only if it's a natural rainbow chest, though. Or if you got Casey from a Rainbow Run Ignore all of the above, it is okay.

If you do bosses without getting hit, you get a master round that gives you an extra heart. If you do all 4 secret floors (maybe not the fourth outside of a rainbow run) you also get way more guns/items. If you don't get hit, you're spending less on hearts, and saving more money.

2:49 i disagree. I think it should have been "dodge or roll". Rolling can place the player in a very bad spot. Moreover they waste time not shooting. For me, it is roll only when dodging is incovenient.
