They were pretty close to having the 3-way 16 point tie at the end of the season. Had red finished first, purple second, and blue third in the crag, that would put their scores at: - Jomboy: 1250 (700 + 550) for 0 points, bringing the season total to 16. - Joez: 1425 (700 + 725) for 4 points, bringing the season total to 16. - Jake: 1375 (1000 + 375) for 2 points, bringing the season total to 16.

Points for Season 3 should be the cumulative total for each team's contestants

If it's just the cumulatie total, who actually wins each episode wouldn't be as important, which I think would make it less entertaining to watch. To me, all that's really needed it a better scoring system that makes ties impossible. For example, 10 for 1st, 5 for 2nd, and 1 for 3rd make a tie impossible for every scenario in an 8 episode season. Holy shit that came down to the wire! What a great final episode! I think you guys should only do the Crag Brag if there is a tie at the end of the season. (So if Kelly had hit the button before Jeff then Jimmy and Jake would need a tiebreaker). Otherwise the Crag Brag seems pretty pointless. I think the next episode should go straight into S3.

Jimmy, Jake and Joez, thank you so much for making this Watchin'/Playin' Guts series. I saw every episode of Guts when I was a kid back in the 90s, and seeing them now in my 30s is a huge blast of nostalgia, which is made waaay better by your hilarious commentary. The only thing I don't like is that I wish you would've made the Playin' Guts purple and blue t-shirts have more contrast because I have a hard time telling which is which. Also, IDK why I thought this show was so cool as a kid, because watching it now as an adult has allowed me to see so many little details I missed back then (for example, it blows my mind that the measuring system for the high jump was so bad).

Idea for scoring next season: give each player their contestant’s point total. That way if it’s close between 1st and 2nd or whatever it’s reflected on the season scoring. Then whoever has the fewest total points going into the following episode gets to pick 1st.

You guys might already know this, but I just realized that you don’t have to hit all the targets on the crag. Sometimes the rocks fall on the targets and they get lit up without any of the kids touching them. So some kids just get shit luck 🤷🏻‍♂️

The fact that a three-way tie for the season still could have happened after the 4th event is crazy. If the Crag finishes went JoeZach (red), Jimmy (purple) then Jake (blue), JoeZach would have won the *episode* by 50 points over Jake and Jimmy would have finished 3rd, 125 points behind Jake. This would have given JoeZach 4 points, Jake 2 points and Jimmy zero points - thus making it a three-way tie for the season at 16 points.

Next season you guys should really consider adding total points scores, at least as a tiebreaker. Because in the current format it makes end of seasons ties very likely, especially given that the draft picks are determined by where you finish the previous episode (which is a change I hated, it should be a 9 episode season with each team getting 3 ones, 3 twos, and 3 threes evenly). Anyway, great season and good job Jake pulling out the big W.

crag brag draft order should be: first place gets 1st pick in 2 episodes OF THEIR CHOICE. they can forego the first round pick and force the second place player from the regular season to use their 1 first round pick in that episode. If the first place player uses their 2 first round draft picks in episodes 1 and 2 then the second place player from the regular season gets first pick in episode 3 the last place player picks last in all 3 episodes
