I’m retired now but worked as a builder all my life building extensions of various size and 5 bespoke houses. I used two bricklayer brothers with their labourer bricky who was an incredible fast worker. An 18ft x 12ft single story extension would be completed in one day to plate level. They built a barn for me in 9inch brickwork and was laying 5000 brick’s a day. I used to have bets with the customers how quick the job would take and I won every time regarding the speed of the brickies . Plus quality was never compromised.

Here your developers post I screenshot it @mustakimbuilds 8 hours ago @dciburnsidesniffsniff6119 - The build is on schedule to complete within a 6-month timeframe, with a penalty if delayed unless due to factors outside Darren's control. - The build has had complex issues, but Darren has been accommodating in resolving them. His expertise goes beyond bricklaying, understanding the intricacies of the design on a complex build. - On-the-job training is fine as long as the internal finishing quality isn't compromised, which Darren ensures. The price remains unchanged, and he's committed to the deadline so no issues with that. - Even potential delays due to Darren's newborn, he continues to be on site as much as he physically can to meet our deadline we've given. Other builders would have a nonchalant mindset and say it's outside of their control and probs take a couple months break from the build. - Build could be quicker if a team of bricklayers brought in but unless you see their work and have recommendations, hard to find reliable good available bricklayers at a fair amount. Obviously now Darren's seen the neighbours bricklayers work, he can have them as a contact for the next project. Overall we're happy as the developers, as it's hard to find good honest builders like Darren and it's on track to meet the deadline that we've decided makes financial sense for us.

Feel you should just stick to the renovations/ small extensions ( like nx doors)...unfortunately theve shown you up tbh...hopefully your devoloper will still be content with your work. I know youll say, dont watch then etc...maybe you shouldn't video so much and put yourself out there so much and push the build on .....
