Yeah, you gotta learn to be comfortable on your own because "friends" like these just cost way more than what little value they add to your life. Build your life and have high standards for friendships and eventually you'll find people that are worthy of your time. If you waste your time and resources on people like these you might just be too distracted by them to find the good people actually out there. At the same time no reason to burn bridges and make enemies if it can be avoided. Just try to gently/gradually distance yourself without hurting any feelings.
