Tomsula got SHAFTED by Jed York. He was the sacrificial lamb for what happened during the Harbaugh years that alienated the fans. He shouldn't have ever been HC, I don't think he ever thought he would get that gig. He seemed to be perfectly fine being a position coach, MAYBE a coordinator one day. York is just the worst type of owner, coming from a Niners fan. Thank god he seems to have at least seen the writing on the wall after this incident and backed off his war path a bit.

@dtice693 жыл бұрын
@@ctrl_alt_del_001 not everything is about money. We're talking about his career and his name here. York used him to deflect criticism for his handling of Harbaugh. That's petty shit regardless of how much money he got. But yes, he did get a nice paycheck out of it, so there's that.

well done on the video Cole. The Tomsula era was an interesting one. He was always interesting to watch and kept things light and focused given the bad position he was put in. As a 49ers fan, Tomsula was put in a terrible situation. Jed York wanted him as the DC no matter who the coach was going to be but no coach he interviewed wanted him as his DC. As someone who has played for Jim Tomsula Aka Coach Tom, you have him all the way fucked up. The way you chopped up things to make him look some sort of way is so disrespectful and all this just to get likes. This man is a legend and has done A LOT for the game of football and has more accolades than most. I know this man, his family and his love for the game, and at the end of the day he was put in a HORRIBLE situation but made the best out of it.

I loved Jimmy T. That press conference always busts my guts, and for the most part that 2015 season would have been awful any way you spin it, even if Harbaugh was still there, most players left/retired from Harbaugh's regime, injuries were awful and Kap may have had a better chance of being better if Harbaugh was still around but not by much. With all that I'd say Jimmy Tomsula was underrated, I'd go out on a limb to say he was honestly better than the guys after Steve Mariucci was kicked to the curb up until Harbaugh.

Miami's head coach Brian Flores is an excellent example of a great NFL Head Coach. His players have remained focused, and they continued to buy into Coach Flores' system through good times and bad. He maintained a healthy locker room culture even when they were losing almost every week. As a Fins fan, Flores has given me hope for the first time in decades.

Look at the off-season prior to Tomsula's one year run, it was a NIGHTMARE. The fact he even got the team to 5-11 is pretty damn impressive. "Ray McDonald was released due to a pattern of poor decision making, Then came the retirements by young stars Patrick Willis, Chris Borland, and Anthony Davis (along with the expected retirement of Justin Smith), the departures via free agency of most of the cornerback crew, left guard Mike Iupati, and aging but beloved running back Frank Gore. This is all not to mention the trade of an all-time great NFL punter, Andy Lee, and the recent legal troubles and release of talented Aldon Smith."

I know people think that Jim was the scapegoat when he became the head coach which I do believe he was in my opinion but at least 49ers give him right by giving him 14 million dollars... After we fired him... To be honest I really like them and he's probably one of the best feeling coaches out there but I honestly didn't think he was going to be successful as a head coach not because. He can't do it.. is because he was set up to fail how many coaches out there that are the line coaches or a secondary coach or a quarterback coach all sudden become a head coach without being a coordinator first?? I can't even remember one that was successful that's why I didn't think my secretary wasn't going to be a good head coach and I do believe it's Jim and even Mike singletary that went through the process let me learn how to become coordinators and then come hit coaches that build you much better and have more success
