The H1B Guy continues the monthly series forecasting the Department of State Visa Bulletin for Employment Based Preferences predicting the October 2024 Visa Bulletin.
The H1B Guy will predict:
Final Action Dates and Dates of Filing for EB1, EB2 and EB3 for China and India
Final Action Dates and Dates of Filing for EB2 for Philippines and All Chargeability
Final Action Dates and Dates of Filing for EB3 and EB3 OW for All Chargeability
Final Action Dates and Dates of Filing for EB4 All Chargeability and Mexico
Visa Bulletin Release Date
Unfortunately there are two errors. Final Action Dates for India EB3 should read 22FEB13 and Dates of Filing for India EB2 should read 08FEB13. My apologies for any confusion.

Your forecast is miles off mate. EB2 ROW FAD is 15 March 2023. No movement. DOF is 1 August 2023. Very weird.

We have 5 days in a week for predicting when we expect the Visa bulletin to arrive, you predict 3 days out of those 5 days and still get it wrong. Moreover, since the last couple of years the most movements have been in the first month of every new quarter and you have always got the dates wrong for India. Please keep doing what you are doing at least we know what not going to occur.

6 months could be a little bit too much. Im really hoping to be like 4 months. If they do move only 1 month for EB3 OW for ROW for the October 2024 visa bulletin, it should really be a steady 1 month forward movement for every visa bulletin afterward. Otherwise, I dont even know what they are doing. Finger-crossed.

I think there is an error in the EB2 Filing Date. It should be 2013, instead of 2012.

+2years in EB-3, basically making sure everyone get's their visa before they start with 2023 cases. +1mo in DOF for EB-3ROW, hopefully EB-3 DOF will move to 01SEP2023 by December visa bulletin

Great informative content as always. Question, why do you feel EB2 India DOF will be Feb 2013 that is potential 6-8 months progress when there are 0 spillovers and the clock as reset to pre covid era now?

I'm assuming they will advance in order to utilize Dates of Filing for the first three months of the fiscal year in an effort to maximize number usage earlier in the year and give them a better idea on demand. I'm also taking into account I140 approval numbers from 2012 and 2013.
