Ali try Lebanese Grill on New Kent Road SE1 Order the half chicken with chips and rice (rice can be either plain or spicy) It comes with salad and costs around £8. It’ll blow these lot out of the water

I tried the original cart food in New York and the first restaurant in LA, not much flavor the white sauce is really good but they could do better with wraps, they need to toast the pita it will make it taste much better, just an advise.

We went a month ago and the guy didn’t tell us how spicy that chilli sauce was - and we can handle hot usually but this sauce was too hot, made us sweat 😂 I had to take the food back and ask for extra white sauce. The food was peng though 😏 my daughter did question - where’s the fries? Lol

Disappointing to see you cut the franchisee off when he was explaining their halal certification. He was at their beef being HMC certified and you either cut him off or edited the rest out.

No way halal guys is clean or healthy, when you go to see the menu it clearly says a platter is like between 500-1000 calories, what kind of a number is that? Also I don’t think they even use real beef

The variation varies due to the sauces and additions, egg based sauces have a lot of calories. When talking of clean I would also urge you to look at the micronutrients as well as the calories+macronutrients :)

Im not from the Middle East or Med, but i know Arab food because growing up in London we have a Kebab on every corner, not to mention that i'm Muslim from an Asian country 'Malaysia' which has its fair share of Arab migrants since the last 2000 years they've been coming. Having said all of that, i notice you've gone for an upmarket presence, and the location does;nt seem to be aligned to any Islamic community. Therefore to me you must be relying on tourists. Keep that white sauce pumping bro's. though The marketing is all wrong, you see there is little sentiment for islam in mainland europe, Only in UK are we given equal rights. in places like switzerland, Mosques are being torn down minarets too. Therefore by going for the trendy side of town, you are going for the foreign tourist. and These people are unlikely going to go for halal. There ARE many brands around the world that TRADE UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. you should have thought about that.

The macro/micro nutrient profile on this is pretty good! 'health' and 'junk' food are relative terms. The balance of proteins, carbs and fats are pretty good in this!

This is a very long debate, ranges of sodium and how much you should have. This isn't the place for it but fitting these into your days worth of sodium once I a while is fine. You're better off looking af your micro and macro nutrients as a weekly total rather than daily. I like the combination of macros
