Great video! Thank you for taking the time to out this together. The Word couldn’t be more clear that we are to keep ourselves separate and not participate in this evil day. No more spiritual junkfood for our kids. ✅✅✅

It is not about what it means to us but about what it means to the Father. so that excuse falls flat. Thanks PD. It is heart breaking to me every year to see how many believers cannot separate themselves from the appearance of evil, including in churches "Trunk or Treat" events. What kind of example are they setting for the rest of the world by imitating their ways

@@RainCountryHomestead I like how you put that, it's not what it means to us but what it means to our Heavenly Father. As a Christian, I am ashamed to say that we did participate in Halloween up until about 3 years ago. I run a daycare in my home and we always did it big. I. Repented of teaching that to the children that God entrusted me with. We have completely stepped away instead. We celebrate Reformation day today!

@@tamichildofGod8249 We did as well when our kids were very young (about 25 years ago or so) but one day I decided to read from an encyclopedia a short section about its history to my boys and my oldest said "If that is where it comes from, we should not celebrate it" So we stopped from that point on. Out if the mouth of babes!

I had a conversation today with someone with whom I had previously been so impressed with, they seemed on fire for the Lord. She posted that she was wrong about Halloween and actually it's good to participate and "build bridges". She told me that my definition of Biblical darkness and hers are not the same, and her little daughter will be allowed to dress up like an innocent character. Then she posted the same verses that People post when they want to shut you down Collossians 2. I was sick in my heart.

@@mountainmama7155 That is sad. Sounds like the kind of teaching coming from churches whom have adopted the Trunk or Treat silliness.

Well done PD. It's always bothered me when churches have trunk or treat "as an alternative" for the youth. Bringing the world of darkness into the parking lot of the church. Very sad. Keep up the gifted preaching.

It is some church leaderships that are to blame for this. Historically, they have not taken a strong stand out of fear of losing members, and today most congregants never think twice.

Amen! I'm listening to this a few days after it was posted and just wanted to share what we did: We generally have Bible studies on Thursday evenings, but since it was Halloween we decided to have a worship night and share testimonies. We generally play worship with our door open so we can fill the street and keep some fresh air flowing, and that evening was no different! When trick or treaters came to our door we handed them gospel tracts and there was one young lady who I was able to pray for. It was a powerful evening!

Sad but true about the Church’s blindness toward things that abhor our Father. May we humbly and lovingly pray for our brethren and neighbors. Thank you brother. 🕊️

❤thank you pd. I’m a house cleaner and I encounter these Halloween decorations in many homes. I don’t fear them though. Because perfect love cast out fear. But yes lawns are decorated everywhere. It’s sad. 😔

Yes, no need to fear decorations, or anything. Greater is He that is in us, than He that is in the world.

Reformation Day, anniversary of the day Martin Luther is said to have posted his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany (October 31, 1517), later identified by Protestants as the beginning of the Reformation.

This whole message was on point! Father forgive them for they know not what they do. I can say this as our family use to celebrate this time as christians. We knew not what we did. In fact I think if I had of heard this message 10 years ago I would have been slightly convicted but excused it away as being extra..because my flesh wanted the "fun" of the time..the kids in costumes, myself in costume, the parties, the decorations. My flesh wanted what it wanted and really what was the big deal.."God" knew my heart. And really that should have terrified me. I would have ignored His truth and I would have suppressed my conviction to do what I wanted, to do what I did every year. Halleluyah we have seen the truth! We no longer take part in any part of this counterfeit spirituality and I pray that this message will reach others and they will hear it and not ignore or excuse it but they will repent and turn from it. Perhaps the quotes from the satanic founders applauding christians celebrating their high Holy day and embracing darkness could wake ppl up and realize it isn't "fun" ppl are participating in. If you are reading this and on the fence..realize the enemy owns the fence. Repent..do a 180° and do not engage with this evil masquerading as "fun". May we walk in the truth and light!

The church calls their trunk or treat outreach to the community. No, it just makes them look like the rest of the world. They’ve never increased souls for the kingdom from it.
@RiseOnFire2 ай бұрын
It legitimizes it more as a Christian practice and comforts the world to continue therein, instead of being a light and conviction to the darkness.
