What I love about "Wedding" is that it has a sense of uneasiness, to represent our unsure point of view. The other piece sounds a lot more bolder, satisfying, and wondrous in comparison, as if it represents our more optimistic view of this film.

It makes sense. "My Tamako, My Sookee" plays at the point in the movie right when it becomes clear Hideko and Sook-hee do love each other. I jumped through the roof at that point of the movie, lol. I was so relieved.

Every who wants to watch the extended, don't bother because Park Chan-Wook had no creative control over the extended and it kinda fuks up the story, which was what made the handmaiden so great (along side many other reasons).

I watched it, and the timing is all wrong and when things reveal, it felt out of place. It doesn't have the same impact as the original cut. The original nailed everything correctly, the timing, the reveal, the order of story.
