It's interesting 'cause she and Bocchi are the most "rock" out of the cast and both seemingly have anxiety issues, so Kikuri is probably the only rolemodel that Bocchi can see herself aspiring to because they're working from the same limitations.

I love the cute way they animated Hiroi rocking back and kicking her feet up in the first few seconds. It's well-animated with a lot of frames and really sells the playful drunk character. So many little moments in this show have gone underappreciated, and that's saying something for how popular this show is.

You know, it's scenes like this that show that Kikuri is kind of a tragic character if anything. She's so drunk that she has next to no control of herself, she has to be restrained for causing a disturbance, she derails most of her performances, she leaves her instrument in a bar, other people are repulsed by her, and her friends have basically just grown accustomed to this, all because it makes Kikuri calmer and happier. It's crazy that there is genuine potential here for a story about how her alcohol addiction is destroying her life in basically every way. It's mostly a comedy, but once you start thinking about Kikuri, you realize just how messed up her situation is. Hopefully Bocchi doesn't go down her path, and hopefully Kikuri snaps out of it and does what's really best for herself.

Hey Hey Hey, some of the best stories of my life happened while being drunk, had fun with friends while partying, made music, sang loud songs withem and we had a good time, BUT as much as like being drunk in company of my friends and i love Kikuri as a lovely well written character, i have to say that THAT is Alcoholism at its finest, please, if you enjoy Alcohol of any kind, drink responsible! And IF you are dependent on Alcohol already, never go cold turkey on it, continue drinking and get professional Help by a Rehab facility or such, because going cold turkey on Alcohol while dependent on it could be fatal because Organs CAN shut down because of the intense stress!
