the best way I think one could put is is that, the being used to be human and because of that instead of screaming or making noise it decided to play on that fact by using something that humans would be familiar with. Almost like a.... Psychological camouflage ( I know that sounds straight crazy but just bear with me) if you ever saw the last predator movie then think back to the seen where the predators recorded a sound bite of one of the mercenaries calling for help. It's familiar and close and because of that that much more horrifying. I guess it would also be fairly mocking seeing as the creature is evil and its playing something as innocent as a tiny time song. Bottom line It's supposed to be psychologically jarring like a missile strike that was just a mile shy of its target. Sorry for my weird ass logic its just the way I see it.

You did an exceptional job with this one, I was leaning closer and closer into my laptop, completely hypnotized with your narration. I love this Creepypasta, but so far you've provided the most emotion and intensity in a narration, which makes it so much better, and I have a gratefulness for that. Sure, it's easy to read something with emotion to make it interesting, but it takes a certain level of emotion and intensity to draw listeners in and keep them entranced, especially with stories such as Creepypastas, and not many (in my experience) are able to possess that.

I remember loving this story when I was younger because it was convergence of everything I was interested in. Wanted to become a psychiatrist at the time, had an interest in the paranormal, and being here I obviously have an interest in creepypasta. Even now, listening to it back almost ten years later, it's still a pretty good story for the most part. However, the "Living in the sunlight" part completely shatters the ambience/mood of the story because it's such a break from the serious tone it tries to present.

i forget where, but i heard someone else read this recently, except in their reading...they added in bits of the song at the points where the subject was approaching and it could be heard. it added to the creep factor.

I've always found the "supernatural" a very terrifying subject. Which is why I love ghost stories and shows like Supernatural. I found the one in perticular very well done because the subject is just hard to discuss and horrifying to think about in my opinion. It also has fantastic describtions for the monsters. I like it when creepypastas and stories in general do that because you can picture it for yourself. In creepypasta it just adds to the fear factor, so that's a plus. XD I as well really thought the ending was a nice one, because just the thought of being hunted down by a supernatural figure and killed is very frightning. Even the description of the insanity of the co-workers was scary to me. I felt like I really knew how that felt, in that situation. As always, great job to the writer and MCP. Never let us down, do you?
