The the tyre just simply lifts off the ground during even mild acceleration just blows mind. Nearly 300 horses from a naturally aspirated 1000cc Engine is just beyond me. Truly amazing what this sport is.

Really interesting viewpoint! I like how you can see the substantial weight shift that occurs. The tire lifts up during acceleration. The suspension compresses during braking and from the centrifugal force during cornering. Also interesting is how rigid the tire itself seems. There is no visible deformation, unlike in a race car.

Can you link to a video explaining what you're referring to?
@nvstewart
@nvstewart 5 жыл бұрын
You won't see it with the naked eye. Take F1 for example, the tires provide most of the suspension than the suspension itself. Yet you don't see it flexing, that is until you see slow motion footage then the tire looks like it is made of jelly. Just because you have been told what happens to the tire does not mean you can physically see it happening.

@@AT2Productions why?im asking stupid
@AT2Productions
@AT2Productions 4 жыл бұрын
@@bambangparto301 In MotoGP there are factory teams and satellite teams, Pramac Ducati is a satellite team using Ducati motorcycles. This video was from 2017/2018 Winter Testing at Jerez prior to the 2018 season. Andrea Dovizioso was with Ducati Corse, the factory team, for both 2017 and 2018 alongside Jorge Lorenzo. Pramac Ducati had Danilo Petrucci for 2017/18 with Scott Redding in 2017 and Jack Miller in 2018. This channel, and the on-board videos, are from either of the two bikes run by the Pramac team. So that narrows it down to it being either Petrucci or Miller, my initial guess of Redding was wrong. However, check some older videos where it shows the rider and you'll see Redding in most of them.
