New Orleanian here, Gulla Gechee* people have the closest dialect, of anyone in this country, to ours. So she was on point to try and imitate it. I ran across an old video here on KZbin of an elder Gulla Gechee* woman speaking. I was not watching the screen and when she starting talking I thought it was my grandma lol. So, I’m pretty sure it sounded the same then.
