You have the biggest heart. Thanks for sharing your life with us and caring for people and animals young and old! We need to visit your farm sometime and would love to see that canyon where you were kayaking in. It is beautiful. I couldn’t find the video we watched last night when you cared for a couple of rescues with hoof trimming and deworming. You are so caring yet so professional in the way you handle animals! All the Glory to God! Till next time…….

I can't even express what a great trip this was. Holbrook, the community, the scenery and especially the Palmer family are truly incredible and awesome people! It was great spending time with you all, Alan, Vicki, Kaycee, meeting Marine and Jocelyn. The Navajo County fair, and rodeo was so fun. This was an experience we will always treasure. Thank you Alan and Vicki, the most energetic people I know, you do so much and know how to enjoy life. Thank you for sharing your home, your faith and love for the Lord with us. Thank you for feeding us so well! The list goes on!

Best way to learn life habits. We love our FFA and 4H kiddos. It’s not all hogs, cows and plows. There is horticulture, meat judging, horse judging, ag mech(welding, wood projects) culinary and the list goes on and on. The WgWam Motel is famous. Grew up seeing it and always wanted to stay there too! Nothing so peaceful as the canyon waters, quiet and clear water. Lisa and Bernie are great people. They have lots of interesting things on their area, beach rides on the horses and much more. Let us know when their channel posts💕👏💕From East Texas

The little goats are beautiful! I ate goat meat once and it was ok but it has a strong flavour. I think they are roasted for feasts in Middle East countries. It’s heartbreaking for those children to raise the animals then sell them. I guess it’s real life but you do get attached. I lived on a little French farm and I remember it well! On the first day of school I went but when I returned the family pig had been slaughtered. A team of butchers had come. The pigs blood was transformed into blood pudding sausages, the meat had become saucissons (salamis) hanging from the ceiling, pâtés. There was a barrel filled with salt and pork meat. The hams were transformed and canned. Even the pigs head became head cheese. I remember the event so well i must have been traumatized. Children don’t live in the past so I went on. You are right those animals are pets I am glad you care enough to give them a home. Well done! ❤

My heartfelt condolences to Jack. I would go to the auction, bid on an animal and then find out who the kid is and return the animal back to them. I would want them to keep the animal for its entire life until death. I am a city person and do not want any animal to lose their life. Gorgeous on the river.

Your right Allen it is hard but it's life it teaches the kids that animals can still be loved. Teaches the financial side of the farm animals. Teaches you how to raise them there needs health etc.. AND of course the hardest lesson of all how to sell them and let them go.

Boer goats. They look similar to Nubians but are heavier and are for meat. They’re very popular for 4h showing as they form out quick and dress out nicely in a shorter amount of time.
