Wow, that's so cool, seeing an Asian American (Filipino in this case) speaking Tagalog is so rare and cool. I'm Malaysian, wish I knew Tagalog, but everything has to start somewhere, it's okay if your Tagalog isn't good now, it'll become better the more you do it. Plus it's a good topic, motorcycles are a part of South East Asian culture.

Yea, people think because were in the states that we have it made. We had a lot of struggles man. Growing up as a foreign kid, not knowing English, taking ESL class, and having 5 sublings along the way. My parents made it happen though man. I grew up in South Jersey and my school then was mostly white kids, which means the kids I hung out with were mostly white, but I still had that pinoy pride. Your Tagalog vocabulary is way better than mine, lol. I can still understand everything, but seem to think like a dumbass when trying to speak it myself like im in spanish class lol. I have 4 kids and I hope to eventually bring them to the Philippines to show them papas background. Stay safe man.

Hell yeah! I grew up in Ilocos Sur. Drove bike all my life until I came here after nursing school. I went to University of Northern Philippines which is located at Vigan! I work as a nurse now in SCI and Brain Injury unit in San Jose. Weve had patient that was injured from riding bikes especially jigsters😂😂 jk. Kidding aside, my brothers in law just got into biking and it is kinna rekindling the spark of riding again. Maybe someday, but right now I just cant get past that thought of the risk🥲. Just to answer your question of what is like to ride in the Philippines. Cant really speed that much since the roads are narrow and cities are so close together that you slowdown every 5-10 km. No speed limit but road conditions does not favor banking and maneuvering. I rode those underbones before and transitioned to those ktm’s. I even rode my bike to my wedding day😂. Anyways, much love bro!

I currently ride a Dorsoduro 1200, and it gets hot in between the legs! lmao I'm planning to sell it or trade it to get a smaller displaecement bike, so I don't risk getting my balls cooked off in traffic.

Motorcycles are very much common here in the Philippines, compared to any four-wheeled vehicles but big-bikes are not very common. Traffic lights are just available at cities, express-roads, and large junctions and occasionally some are not really working at all and most of the time you can just ignore the traffic system not unless there are some authorities around which can rarely be seen except in the cities. So, can almost imagine how extreme motorcycle riding here in the Philippines. Roads are very crowded everywhere, and you must be used to driving on a very tight spaces all the time even you are riding a motorcycle and must be cautious every single seconds. Because, like i said; traffic system are always being violated because it is rarely implemented.
