agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience

Almost 1 in 10 works for the other 9?! In what world does that make sense. It must make for the most amazing country. A country so amazing ... I left for Uruguay. I can highly recommend.

Lol I am friends with a person who works for the EPA, and is able to do the job despite having five kids because she gets to mostly work from home. I thought it was interesting that she voted for Trump when the people around him are chomping at the bit to get rid of regulations, govt workers, and the remaining govt workers they want to go back into the office instead of work from home. Her biggest reasons for voting for Trump were costs/inflation, closing the border, and her Christian values about trans issues. Interesting too because in regards to inflation if Trump does what he says he will do costs are going to increase. I get the impression people vote on vibes/tribe more than policy. I also notice that they tend to think voting for the opposite of what they have had means they will get something better than what is currently in power. The truth is both could be equally as awful in different ways, or what you you replace awful with could end up being even worse! It depends!

0:22 What are you talking about, Trump’s mannerisms haven’t changed since the 80’s when he wrote that book? It’s well known that the book had a ghost writer, Tony Schwartz.

Deficits won't be cut by reducing "government waste", they will take money away from the lowest incomes to give tax breaks to the highest incomes that aren't even earned incomes to begin with. Rentier income is an extraction from the real economy of producing and consuming goods and services, what you might call theft, and should be taxed. "Rentiers derive income from ownership, possession or control of assets that are scarce or artificially made scarce. Most familiar is rental income from land, property, mineral exploitation or financial investments, but other sources have grown too. They include the income lenders gain from debt interest; income from ownership of ‘intellectual property’ (such as patents, copyright, brands and trademarks); capital gains on investments; ‘above normal’ company profits (when a firm has a dominant market position that allows it to charge high prices or dictate terms); income from government subsidies; and income of financial and other intermediaries derived from third-party transactions." Standing, Guy. The Corruption of Capitalism: Why rentiers thrive and work does not pay (p. 94).
