You're spot-on on all your points: If she were black, there would be no trauma. They can never praise 'just' Clark. They have to mention either Angel or the rookie class. They don't come right out and admit they hate her, but you can tell by watching them ... the media and the players. A'ja Wilson is all about A'ja Wilson. Points are typically high with low assists; assists are high with low points. Clark has high numbers for both. Comparing A'ja to Tim Duncan is correct. Really great, highly refined 'standard' player; nothing exciting. You're a very perceptive person. It's refreshing to hear such an honest and open person assess what went on this year and be right on the money.

Women's basketball refused to bring Caitlin to the Olympics, and Nike has refused to promote her or release a shoe. She's going global anyway

But thats the thing, it does not look like she wants to be a global superstar. She doesn't really understand how powerful she is

Spot on, good sir. Well done.

I disagree with your opinion that she is throwing away the best opportunity a female athlete can have. That may be true of a veteran or subpar player, but a rookie who came straight from 4years of college, still hasn't finished her degree, has charities she is involved in, a boyfriend, close family and is 22, plus has millions in endorsements? She has time to explore the world as a celebrity or pro. Fact is she would probably enjoy travelling and getting to know the world minus fame getting in the way early on.
