"Tainted Love" is a great song choice to introduce Peter Quint's character, considering what we see of his relationship with Rebecca.

From Luke Craine to Peter Quint, the actor really does have fantastic range.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realise it was the same actor

The scariest part of the episode, having to sit through a children's' play.

I love the flashbacks. Getting a little bit more information, but there is still so much more to learn. The ending....what does this mean???

11:14 “was that … just something to make us go ewhoa?” You apologize to Mike Flanagan right now! By now you should know that _nothing_ in these shows is ever _just_ there to catch the audience out.

Funnily, Mike Flanagan is a big Dr Who fan

Miles: "I dreamed I hurt you." SPOILER . . . . . . . . . Oh man, I've never noticed that line before. Such a great throwaway moment on first watch, but so meaningful on a rewatch.

Yes!!! I had watched a couple episodes ahead before I edited this, which I don’t normally do. This is a moment I would have for sure cut, but so glad I was able to include it. Amazing.

@@CasualNerdReactions I've watched a few recaps of this show and I have never seen that line included when they watch this episode, so I had completely forgotten it. When I saw you cut to you in the editing room at first I thought "Oh no, he's going to discuss it and spoil it, assuming everyone watching has already watched the show." I should have known better. Nicely done.

I have never seen this before but I am guessing the hit someone with her car at night and killed him. And the memory is the headlights reflecting in his glasses just before she hit him and then he was probably thrown...

Peter reminds me of my abusive ex boyfriend. Every basic human interaction I had was flirting in his eyes as well, or that's at least what he accused me of and that's one of the ways he used to manipulate me. "Do you have any idea what you look like?" I watched the show with him too 🫣

The crack in the wall that Hannah is seeing has a much more interesting and wellthought out reveal than DW does. That one is pretty stupid, IMO.
