One thing I didn’t understand about Viola as The Lady in the Lake: supposedly she’s been doing this deadly walk from the lake to her old master suite and then back to the lake again for hundreds of years. I guess she only walks once in a while then? Because why didn’t Flora and Miles parents ever see her? I’m assuming they had the same master suite of rooms as Viola did years before.

I believe that the Lady in the Lake only walks at certain times of the year and she sleeps for an undetermined amount of time. before the parents died, it was only their summer home and they were only there for a few months a year so it very reasonable to assume that they never saw the Lady in the Lake.

She only walks once every few weeks, based on Hannah's comment of how often the footprints appear. And she walks late at night/early morning, so even if the family had been there they would all have been asleep.

also other ghosts are clearly warning the kids using dolls. they may have used other means to get some of the other potential victims out of danger .

not to be a party pooper but with the paranormal theory of residual energy, changing the physical environment wont necessarily change the path of energy. In this case, alterting the house would not prevent Viola from walking the same path. She’d just go through the walls or walk the ramps, you couldnt just “dig her a new path” to the woods 🤣 I hope you guys wrap up the next episode soon!
