The HBO Max Purge: The Losses of Summer Camp Island, Infinity Train, Mao Mao, and OK KO

I don't normally do news, but I couldn't keep quiet about this. HBO Max has purged a lot of their animated shows, including fan favorites like Summer Camp Island, Infinity Train, Mao Mao, and OK KO. They're gone now, apparently headed for a tax write off. Maybe they'll stay available on Prime Video, maybe they won't, but so much for HBO Max.
You're all sad, and I'm sad too. Summer Camp Island's sixth season will eventually air on Cartoon Network, this much we know, but what happens after that? And Infinity Train, Mao Mao, and OK KO have already been cut short by executives past; their time has already gone. All of these shows are gone from HBO Max, and are in the process of being scrubbed from company sites, but let's hope they linger at least somewhere.

I regret getting the year pass for HBO max. I'm sad for close enough it fill the void in my life. I'm happy we will get the rest of SCI

I just got back from my last year at summer camp and I feel awful for recommending them a bunch of unfindable shows

None of these shows deserved this treatment. I'm a Mao Mao fan so this news especially broke my heart because it looks like CN is even trying to erase the fact there was supposed to be a second season. I don't want to get sad yet so I'm waiting for the official word that it's either cancelled or going to push its second season on tv, but things aren't looking too hot for the series...

As Shake once said in Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters “I know it. My tan … fell off. $49 straight down the crapper!” When WBD cancelled batgirl and Scoob Holiday Haunt that's $90 million straight down the crapper. Warner Bros Should have never merge into Warner Bros Discovery and cause a bunch of shows get removed and two movie get cancelled because of them Luckily one of the upcoming movies to survive the Discovery Purge is Evil Dead Rise Evil Dead Rise was originally intended to be a HBO Max original movie but test screens were so positive that it switched to a theatrical release instead of direct to streaming.

I am definitely bummed the most about Summer Camp Island, Close Enough and Infinity Train 😔 this is so ridiculous.

Summer Camp Island and other shows must be Independent immediately! I always think that Indie animation gained huge success instead of major TV animation studios like Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, so I think as a fan it's better that Summer Camp Island should go Indie!

@@modnarrandom224 There's always a way to make it Indie somehow by transfer the rights to the creator, the creator deserved more than the company.
