Not everyone had the same opportunities to educate themselves about nutrition and eating right. Age alone doesn’t make an adult capable of making the right decisions. There’s a lot that goes into how people become obese. Just because people are liable to face consequences for their actions doesn’t mean you accelerate those consequences. That doesn’t help anybody. You can’t just exploit gullible people because not everyone who is gullible deserves to be exploited. This is literally unethical. Zero argument for this shitty restaurant.

Bryan Moreno No one is born addicted to shoving quadruple cheeseburgers down their throat. This guy tells them to their face “This food will kill you” and they make the choice to proceed regardless. The fact that he offers meals for free to the morbidly obese just goes to prove how lazy, thoughtless and apathetic these people are towards their own health. The owner is a very VERY smart rather sadistic murderer. He has found away to channel his inner darkness and murderous intent,in a way that kills or maims just enough people that he can be satiated. He gets away with it because of the thought process that drives your comment. It's called Plausible deniability. It goes like this. "Iv'e never killed anyone officer. i'm just the owner of a legit business establishment.. I didn't give the addict the drug forcefully. I just hired people to give the addict as much as they wanted whenever they want in as high a dosage as they want, even if it kills them. If they do it officer thats their fault." In fact theres a movie about a killer who does the same..its called SAW. after all jigsaw didn't kill the people in his "games" he gave them away out.

Jack Reacher didn't say the owner was sincere. He said the owner was honest! Which he was, most people would be distancing themselves from their spokesperson if something negative like this happened to save their business. Jared from Subway comes to mind. He could have just disagreed with the interviewer but didn't. The owner came right out and said my burgers killed him, my burgers kill...that is honest and reality! Funny how often those two go hand in hand.

How is it a fuck you if i'm giving you exactly what you want? Seems like if he wanted to express that sentiment he would've opened the restaurant up, served one delicious meal, and then closed it down the same day. It isn't morally wrong to give people what they want unless what they want is to hurt someone else. And that spokesman probably had the best life a fat guy could ever wish for.

That argument didn't make sense to me. The owner qualified of "immoral" putting an end to the business under the excuse of "we have already done damage, so it doesn't matter anymore." Surely, what the business has done is bad, but that's why it must stop... Think it like this: A serial killer believes that is unethical to stop killing people because he did it in the past. It's just stupid. A better (honest) way to put the phrase would be: "I'm beyond redemption since I don't feel remorse; furthermore, I don't want to change."

tbh, the owner is close to zero accountability for any casualties caused by his food. There is literally a sign on the door that says "Eating here is bad for your health". Not to mention the whole hospital theme of the restaurant, like screaming at you that "if you eat here, you WILL be hospitalized". I'm glad the owner is honest too, giving out straight answers and owning up to the stigma around his restaurant. If he gets rich because of his restaurant, then seriously I say to him: Well played and good job.
