Hello Crimey and fellow Reelies. 🙋🏻‍♀️🇮🇹 Once again, it was a pleasure working with you, Crimey. This was a tough case to cover as it's so terribly sad. It caused immense anger here in Italy, especially after more and more shocking truths came to light. You put together some exceptional visuals and related this heartbreaking crime in the most compassionate way. I appreciate all your hard work. Lorys was a bright, happy and loving little boy who deserves to be remembered. I hope he's at peace and climbing beautiful rainbows......🌈♥️ Fiona xo

When such a malignant narcissist is in your life, it's like being in a never-ending tornado. She had probably been lying to everyone in her orbit for years, but no one caught on. Poor Lorys looks like an adorable child. Her callousness was unbelievable.

The little boy refusing to go to school is probably another lie. Children in that situation, who are loved by teachers and classmates and are abused by a parent at home, see school as their sanctuary. She probably wouldn't let him go, maybe he was going to tell someone what was happening at home when no one was around. Not so much as a word of truth comes out of that monster. RIP, Lorys.

I sincerely cannot wrap my head around the impulse to hurt a child, especially that of a mother to attack her own flesh and blood. No matter what my child had done or how angry that had made me, I wouldn’t need an ounce of self-restraint or control, because I simply wouldn’t ever have even a fleeting thought of doing what she did, much less the temptation. My heart aches for Lorys’ father and other loved ones, and I hope they’ve found some healing and peace. Rest In Peace, sweet boy.

I can't understand how a mother xould do this . One of my children fought me for over 9 years every morning ... it started everyday at 6.30 he wouldn't get out of bed . Usualy he fought me untill about 10.30 in the morning . I was fired because I couldn't be on time .. his school started at 8.45 my work would start at 9.00 in the morning ... he got me angry somedays ... but never untill the point that I would want to hurt him . And yes I had mental problems for most of those years. Do not give murdering mothers this excuse ..

It's kind of amazing to me that this *clearly* batsh!t crazy woman was able to maintain enough of a façade of normalcy, as to remain undetected within this family for YEARS, before blind-siding ALL of them by slaughtering her own child.. It really sounds as though her husband & in-laws saw no warning signs in her leading up to Lorys' murder. That's terrifying!

Davide said she had always been a loving mother, Lexi.. she definitely had some issues in her life but everyone thought she'd put the past behind her. She DID start to act a little crazy.. such as by standing up on a chair during later interrogations, singing a well-known Italian song word for word about a person confined to a mental institution.. she was accused of putting on an act.. especially as her story constantly changed! But not one member of her family would have ever believed she was capable of such a heinous crime!

What an absolutely horrible story. I can't help but mourn for Lorys' father. May he find peace and love again... Thanks, CR, for bringing this tale to light. I can truthfully state that after hearing the birthday wishes written for what would have been his son's 15th birthday, that this was the first Crime Reel episode that brought tears to my eyes. Veronica never realized how good she had it to have found such a man as her husband...probably a result of her BPD.

My heart absolutely broke into a billion little pieces. Loris is the son that the majority of mothers would love to give birth to. I honestly don't know what is going on, but the number of children being killed by their mothers has been on the rise. I couldn't have any children of my own, but my maternal instincts are super strong, and I would've loved, if I was able to, to have given birth to a son just like Loris. My heart breaks for his dad. No matter how long Loris has been gone physically, his memory and light will never fade. RIP Sweet Loris.

WOW. What a roller coaster of a case for the family. I would actually wonder what Veronica's mother actually had to say about why Veronica left her home. That would actually give us some insight into her psyche.
@pimpozza
@pimpozza 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Anthony.. Carmela Aguzza, Veronica's mother, did give a few interviews in 2016 and 2017. She talked of their problematic relationship and how Veronica wanted to leave home to "run away" with Davide. Carmela had always tried to be firm, but the arguments got worse and in the end she gave up and told her to get out. Carmela blamed Davide for many of their problems, saying they had been closer in previous years. Veronica didn't even want her mother around when Lorys was born. As Lorys grew, he didn't really know his grandmother very well as he rarely saw her. Apparently, Veronica never got over her parent's break up and blamed her mother for it. Carmela stated some pretty bizarre things. One was that Veronica hated her mother so much that she probably killed Lorys because they shared similarities! She claimed Veronica was lovely with other people and was a caring mother so she cannot imagine what caused her to suddenly kill her son. Definitely not a very stable relationship between mother and daughter, though.. Carmela did go and visit her in jail initially, believing her to be innocent.. but contact soon stopped and it is assumed they no longer see one another.. I have to say, Carmela came across as a pretty tough woman in interviews. I find it strange she didn't try harder to be closer to her grandson.. I found her a little negative and definitely sensed jealousy.. because Veronica was very close to her in-laws.

@@pimpozza Thanks for the info. That gives me more of an idea, that Veronica was damaged way more than most would think. I would say that her parents divorce is what actually was what broke her. Her statements throughout the whole situation, from the time when she first met Davide until today, have all been designed to paint her in the best light possible. With hearing from her mother, I am more convinced that she was and still is convinced that her lies are reality.
@minilea144
@minilea144 2 жыл бұрын
@@pimpozza Obviously, Davide wasn't the problem. It could have been any guy. Just like the daughter, I don't believe the mothers words. I think there was something more than a divorce. I don't think they were close in previous years. I think there was always something off about the both of them. Carmela is probably in denial to say she partly to blame for how their lack of relationship was. Oddly enough, parents tend to say their kid "showed no signs of" xyz while others around will say there were sings and the parents overlooked them.
