As a filmmaker who gets upset over the overuse of AI, I thought this was great. This guy Jason is obviously showing us the power of AI. I don't think the brother was actually trying to tell a compelling story here and convince us that this is real. He is showing us a tool that we can use. So if you shoot a short film where you character robs a bank, you can then use AI to do a brief getaway scene. Combine it with live action shots of him in the car looking around and then cutting back to 80s NYC outside the car, I don't think you'll know the freaking difference!

Ai performance is doubling every six months. I gave it no more than two and a half years until this will looks as good as Hollywood. Hollywood is canceling itself from the way it's treats it's viewers. With actors recently releasing their political beliefs and calling us uneducated. They're on their way out. In another three years, they'll be begging to come back to us, but that's not going to happen. It's far easier, and far more productive not to waste the money on actors.

Was all of that also AI Generated?

It's in the description, but they break it down more on Twitter/X. It's a test, the models are young , AI Video has issues with persistence and consistency, not sure about the audio sources but I'll assume they're AI. Everything else they had to fine tune and dig through scenes etc, so the editing process was much the same. They didn't do any post processing. They are a filmmaker or have knowledge of the process to actually put this together. Probably has several worse scenes that are inconsistent.
