Watched this video last week and yesterday I had my sparring partner in guard and executed your first move right away. Moving my upper body to the left (head offline), second hand on collar crossed and was able to finish the choke without much hassle while he has much more weight and muscle than me. I’m a 2 month white belt and this video actually helped me IRL sparring. Awesome!!! Thank you.

I’m a huge fan of the way you keep your Instructional videos fun, engaging and interesting. Above all you manage to explain things in a very memorable and funny manner. This is a huge help for me personally... now on the mats I remember to “CUT him down..” and I never forget to give a little backhand... Thank you for your help in all of our journeys in jiu jitsu.

I won gold in my first sub only last year with this move, I accidentally did something very similar to this. So I can confirm that it works in competition, thank you professor Tom!
