Hi everyone !! Skittikyu here, I'm the one whose part had the cat in it! I can't believe it's already been an entire year since the reanimated was released! I had so much being part of it, it was the first reanimated project I've ever been apart of, and I was honoured to contribute to it with so many other talented people! I've loved the Henry Stickmin collection since the before-remastered Newgrounds days, and rediscovering the story and characters I remembered fondly + joining the community that formed after Completing the Mission came out was a big source of morale and inspiration for me to continue art during the 2020 pandemic and the subsequent years of lockdown restrictions! My cat's name is Tibby, and he turned 6 years old this spring! We actually had a pretty major health scare with him about a month ago, so I'm grateful to say he's recovered and is still around for this milestone, and hopefully many more to come! It's funny to look back on it now, but initially his inclusion in my part was just going to be a placeholder, but people (me included) liked it so much that I decided to keep it in, and I'm glad I did! I think it actually worked out in helping add to the paper aesthetic of my Charles animation, plus I realized afterward that his fur pattern actually kind of resembles the mountain range in the actual cutscene where the rocket crashes into the wall! Seeing how much people enjoyed his presence + nearly losing him makes me certain I'll find places for him in any future projects I'm part of, but until then, I'm happy he'll be immortalized in this collab, and I hope everyone continues to enjoy it, whether you've watched it 1 time or 100! Happy 1 Year🐱
